Whoa now, you're not allowed to call FF7 and RE3 remakes!
You'll trigger DevilGear666/VideoGojira real hard! ♥
Ahhhhh, so you're a multi account for DevilGear666!
I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.
Love you too by the way.♥
Aren't you supposed be in school right now kid?
Only choices I remember is either to fight nemesis or run/hide.
Since this is gonna be a lot like the RE2 remake, such choices popping up onscreen would be redundant since you can pretty much do that anyway.
B-B-But the switch is a shitty hybrid and doesn't deserve ports like TW3 or Metro Redux! WEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
$600 today isn't as insane as it was back in 2006.
$600 back then would be about $750 today, which is why it was nuts back then.
But that same price tag today would be equal to around $475 in 2006, give or take, pretty close to the $500 price tag people keep predicting.
Inflation is a thing people, twenty bucks today doesn't have the same buying power it does a decade ago.
@traumadisaster The masses, generally speaking, are stupid. Game prices staying at $60 is not the norm, it's the exception. And I'll argue it's because of those stagnant game prices that we have lootboxes and $20-30 dlc.
Sooner or later your average consumer is just gonna have to accept the fact that prices cannot and will not stay the same.
And they will, it's inevitable.
As I said earlier, with inflation, $399 is not a price point that's reasonable anymore.
Maybe PS5 will launch at that price, but it'll definitely be the last console to do so.
Careful now, the turn based combat fanboys will string you up for even dare suggesting that the FF7 remake is worth being excited for! Or, to use their incorrect term, "Reimagining".
Consoles will inevitably have a launch price of $599 due to inflation.
It was a boneheaded move back in 2006 because $599 back then would be over 700 dollars today.
FF7 remake GOTY 2020!
Just you wait, the fanboys will move the goalposts once more, saying something like "IT'S NOT TRUE 1080P SO IT'S A SHITTY PORT!".
Mainly it's the Sony fanboys since they're still super salty about how much of a failure the Vita was.
Just pure jealousy since the Switch is what the Vita should've been, but wasn't due to boneheaded decisions by Sony when it came to 1st party support and its choice of memory storage...
Still a remake any way you slice it~. ♥
When the Switch first game out : "LOL SWITCH HAS NO GAMES EXCEPT MARIO AND ZELDA!"
Now it's : "LOL SWITCH ONLY HAS INFERIOR PORTS OF 3RD PARTY GAMES!"
The way these haters act, you would think that the switch ports of Doom, Wolfenstein, and The Witcher 3 all look like N64 games or something.
Bunch of elitist graphic whores if you ask me.
What the developers are able to pull off in spite of the huge power gap between current gen consoles and what is essentially a handheld with a TV out option is nothing short of amazing.
This gives me some hope that maybe we'll get a true portable version of Final Fan...
Not too loud, you'll upset the fanboys by coming at them with logic!
Still a remake~! ♥
Can't wait for Naruga to get in here and start gushing about how good Jill looks here while bashing Capcom for making her look more European. Because, ya know, anything non-japanese for that guy is the worst thing ever.
The Witcher 3 is a pretty intensive game, yet we now have a Switch version that, while obviously not as good looking as its console counterparts, still looks pretty damn good.
Crysis 1 with RTX... https://gph.is/1VyC6u9
