MS are quite good at developer support, hence why in the early days most games looked better on 360, now Sony has woken up and supported developers they're starting to perform better on ps3

PSN (60m users or something) takes in $9.3m in a month (averages $111.6m per annum), N4G praises it.
Steam (~20m users, 3m online at any time) earns ~$1bn in a year, PC GAMING IS DEAD LOL IT DOESN'T HAVE UNCHARTED

no. they decided not to produce a FOURTH Warcraft RTS game because they like to constantly innovate, so releasing 4 of the same series would be against them.
but you are right, LAN is dead, because we have got to a stage where an online service is stable (enough) and offers many more features that LAN couldn't provide.
