Hey Max i think that excuse is getting old and tired. it hasn't stopped that many people from spending imo. i sure as sh*t ain't letting that stop me from living my life and getting the things i want in that i can afford.
i have a decent paying job, pay my mortgage, bills, and still have enough to hang out purchase things that im interested in. so come February I'll be purchasing a vita which is cheaper than $300 droid charge that im typing this on.

Im still purchasing the wifi model because the system gives me what i want while im on the go, true core gaming experience period. i won't let the naysaying gaming media, or the db hating gamers out change my mind about the vita.

i have more than enough games to play on the system to worry about those arcade game.
To this article i say no thanks to gaming on smartphone/tablets without real physical controls, horrible battery life, and low quality finger poking/swiping games.
My phone is for texting, making calls, and browsing the web when bored. the only so called game its good for is words with friends nothing more. i will gladly spend my hard earned $250 for a machine that will give me the core gaming experience Im looking for.

i have a smartphone and to me its pretty damn worthless for the type of gamer i am, so ill be purchasing a vita when it releases because it has the types of games that i want to play on the go. if i can spend $300 for my smartphone or $400-600 for a tablet i think i can spend $250 for a dedicated handheld to suit my needs.
for me personally i will never believe that gaming on a smartphone/tablet is just as good as a dedicated handheld.

i dont use my droid charge for real gaming because
1 battery life sucks
2 quality of the games imo dont match console/handheld games
3 finger swiping/finger poking just doesnt cut it
4 im a core gamer who wants a dedicated handheld system with full fledged quality games not
cheap 2-5 dollars games that are worthless

even though im enjoying the game i do feel sometimes that the dungeons go on just a bit to long. sometimes i just want a short dungeon to explore. other than that i really do enjoy fighting the dragons.
i actually have the ps3 version of skyrim too, i havent had that many problems myself expect for it freezing on me 3 separate times lol. i hated both oblivion, and fallout but im quite enjoying skyrim. maybe its the dragons i like killing in the game lol.

The 360 i have now will be the final Microsoft console i purchase. they've lost me as a repeat buying with their lack of variety and kinect casual game crap stuff.

Being American myself i don't need marketing since I've been playing since the 80s. playstation for me has always had what i wanted from a games console great games and variety. Microsoft has lost me as a repeat customer when they release their next console because they'll be running the same 3-4 exclusives that they've been running for the best 2 gens and probably won't even ask their studios to create something new. plus they'll continue pushing that stupid motion...
My one and only question is why have this store.
Ps3 has a much better lineup of games and variety to boot, M$ is all about chasing that casual $$$$$ now and less about exclusives (especially new creative IPs). Gears was the only game i played on my 360 this years. they lost me as a repeat customer come the next round on console releases. they also like to waste money on time dlc to make it seem like an exclusive, and majority of the people are stupid enough to believe that.
the only game from that list i didnt get yet was motorstorm apocalypse. ill probably get it sometime this month. but all the others i have played and loved. they have great variety which i really like, this is something i want from my 360 variety.
