It isnt about being horny, it is the principle. Being anle to ahve it in a video game as opposed to making it the center of a video game. Maybe a gmae will choose to make it soemhting principle but hte ffact is that devs are too scared ot go that route because of all the backlash they will receive.
Agreed - the fact is that an R rated movie or TV show for that matter can get away with alot more than a video game that is rated M for Mature. So why not go AO and go all out!!!?? Im not talking pr0n but lets push the envelope. Mass Effect tried?

The nudity would have to make sense in the context of the game. Like in the Mass Effect scene, where you see nohting perhaps you could have seen some nudity since they are makin love in the cut scene? SOmething like BMX XXX or the Guy Game is just bordering the dumb side and becasue of games like that this topic gets a bad rep. A game like leisure Suit Larry should go AO and use nudity to its full effect, but instead it will be gimped and not use any nudity and hence be lame.
yeah I like how people get on their high horse about nudity and how it will destroy a persons mind, yet all the violence in games has become second nature. I say if I can watch people get cut in half, why not mix in some nudity?
The interesing part is once you mention any kind of nudity you get blasted as a pervert or alienating a gender.
Ubisoft may be pissed butit does cause some stir over the game and perhaps turn some people onto it even thought hey werent even thinking of getting it. Interesting move all around.

I think NIntendo would be the last company to even think of going to an AO game, then SONY, then MS. MS i think got the biggest balls of the three to try somehting like an AO game.
Agreed, the nudity cant just be thrown in for the sake of being there, although I wouldnt complain about it. BUt it could add to the experience of a game to have it in there, if written in well. THe fact is games are just afriad to push too far, the closest we have had are pretty tame by todays standards. If you compare games to movies, movies are far more explicit with what they show.
yeah i agree. video games are no longer geered to kids. except maybe Nintendo. everything else is geared to adults and gamers that grew up on the original NES/Sega. Games have gotten too expensive for regular kids now a days, what kid can buy a console on his own anymore? Video games are for adults, aim the themes for adults as well.
I think this would add to the mystic of the game, typically people want what they cant have. The draw to a lot of people/kids to get GTA was that they werent supposed to have it. It like smoking and drugs, people/kids tend to gravitate to things they arent supposed to get. An AO game would be the same.

I am a bit disappointed with the online modes though. Getting a bit tired of games just tacking on a mmultiplayer mode for the sake of having one.
