All Xbox 360 games sold very well, not matter if there are too many good games in the market. Fable 2, L4D, Gears of War 2, all multiplataform games, nothing to worry about. But in PS3, there isn't any game that sold to much units this holiday that make someone believe that a big part of the install base choose that game. In NA R2 sales were crap, LBP sales were crap, COD5 crap too, mirror's edge crap...so what? The Dark Knight was the general choice?
i'm sorry, K2 looks amazing, but if LBP and R2 couldn't push the PS3 i don't see K2 making things better. LBP was a new ip, Resistance 2 a hyped sequel and K1 was a flop.
Get a life, you are bashing sites because they didn't gave the GOTY to MGS4. MGS4 isn't the only game around, this year we had a lot of good games and fable 2 deserved it. This is the fifth GOTY award for Fable 2.

i watched the BR rip and i love this movie i will buy the BR disc.
There's not doubt that Nintendo Wii is the king of this generation in numbers and the motion controller is a big step in the gaming industry. I hope the nintendo team bring us real good games for us, not simple boring family games like wii music, i want games like the conduit, metroid, zelda, mario, good jrpg like the ones wee see in DS. The wii has potential for innovations, variety and fun, please Nintendo don't waste it.
you talk as if xbox 360 didn't get quality games, fable 2, Gears of War 2, L4D, Braid, Ninja Gaiden 2, Banjo & Kazooie and the best versions of Fallout 3, GTAIV, Prince of Persia and with very good sales, gears 2 almost break the 4million mark, Fable 2 hits the 2million mark and L4D a game that wasn't hyped hit the 1 million mark, and sales do matter to the devs.
Xbox 360 delivered quality and excelente profits to the devs.

Wasn't only the hardware sales, MGS4 was the only blockbuster game of PS3 in 2008, Home wasn't the big thing as expected. The holiday lineup flop in sales, you can say and repeat that LBP already sold more than 1 million but this sales are worlwide, in NA the game barely sells 70k by week and that's a flop in sales for a mega hit, an AAA exclusive of the PS3. Resistance 2, SOCOM and the rest were rapidly forgotten.
