Well, Abyss is PS2 and 3DS, so you shouldn't need a PS3 or Emulator to play it(unless you lack a PS2, but PS2 Emulators are out there).

Sadly, they(as in the PSP or PS3 games) haven't been Translated(I dunno about Unofficially for either of those). The PC Version of the first game was translated, but it's an H-Game.
Though, the PS3 version and the PC version are different games entirely(Ultimately the story is the same, PS3 version follows the Anime a bit as well). The PC version plays a bit like the PS1-2 Growlanser games, and the artwork is different as well, with the explicit content removed.
While I like the Clive Owen suggestion in the article, my choices would be either Jim Caviezel or Dylan McDermott. Both are very good actors, and sort of look the part.
Loved this game! This along with Vangrant Story, Vandal Hearts 1 & 2 along with about 20 other of my PS1 games were lost in a fire. I've been meaning to get around to rebuying them, as my collection feels incomplete without them.
It's a prequel(or rather a Precursor and takes place in the same Universe) to the Shadow Hearts series, so anyone that liked RE and Shadow Hearts will probably enjoy this game, if they ever get a chance to play it.
I guess anyone that just preordered the regular version gets this. It's a good incentive for the people that missed the Collectors Edition. Sadly the Collectors Edition probably doesn't get that Stahn Outfit for Milla. I think the Cless outfit for Jude looks a bit generic, though.
He kind of sounds like a bad Jimmy Durante impersonator. I half-expected a Ha Cha Cha, then he changed his accent about 1 minute 20 seconds in.
Now that is some awesome news! It's a shame this news didn't hit about a year or so ago. It's been far too long, we should be near or hearing about Persona 6 by now.

Loved the game, hated the Bat Boss! That Boss always tore me up.
He's always been a classy guy, and usually pretty nice. I remember when Working Designs was still around, a few of their employees were active on their Forums/Boards amongst other places. They were always pretty pleasant to be around. It's cool when the Staff interact with us consumers, especially so when they aren't complete jerks.
I really miss Working Designs, that's why I enjoy XSEED, because they have so many similarities.
Even if it's not real, the conversation and content was solid and well written. These types of scenes in a game are great for character development. If this was actual game content, it was a poor choice to remove it on the director or teams part.
Too bad it's just dialog written over scenes from the Ashley romance scene, from what I can remember.
If that's true, that's great news for all our EU friends! More accessible, and not having to deal with Importing or finding sellers that are Import friendly is always nice. Plus, Namco actually paying attention to all of us Tales fans outside of Japan is just great news altogether.
Great game, I loved the second. Sadly, my copy of the 3rd went missing, hhmm.
I remember trying to snap a shot of the random ghosts, to complete my collection. I must've played through those games 5-6 times each. Definitely worth a look, for anyone with an interest in the genre.
I'm liking the full version of Astra Nova. It's a pretty neat Theme Song. Can't wait for the release!
