Speedy yet most likely unreliable. I have friends that have Comcast as their ISP and they drop from games we play left and right. And lag a lot too. Same with Roadrunner with some California people I play with.
DD is indeed 10+ years away. Why, because America's internet isn't all that fast and great. I play games with people in California that have very faulty and slow connections and I have faster than them and I'm in a small town. Also, the ISPs of America are most likely not going to love getting hit with thousands of their subscribers downloading 30GB HD movies constantly, eating up their speeds.
I'm guessing the rising prices are somewhat because of no competition, but to most likely push PS3 sales through too. That price doesn't budge.

I don't switch consoles. The ones I own are because of brand loyalty. Although I do trash the other consoles that I don't own a lot, I still play them at parties or when I go to friends houses. But, switching to another console, haven't done that yet. Unless you can count going from the 64 to the PS1. I did that because of FF7.

You reaLly don't get in troubLE for downloading at torrent sites. If it's out there to downLoad, then it's there. They reaLly go after the people that are the ones that upload to other people. that's why, when you download a file, be safe and don't upload to others.
