I'm a major PC, XBOX and Nintendo gamer - I have huge collectors library of physical games, I don't get your statement at all Krysis? If you are a true gamer this means you don't own disc-based games?? Wtf.
Well if you look at the boom in Music Vinyl sales recently, I'd have to disagree entirely. People are obviously tired of downloads and reading from this thread, people still want physical discs and cover art.
Perfect for you people like yourself then. Ironically in years to come though, you'll probably have to purchase them all again as they float off into the digital abyss of lost titles.
Indeed, think of all the gaming platforms that now no longer exist...including your beloved games. It's a scam.
They charge you more, you don't have any control on what happens to it, and they get to keep your money regardless. I also think it's easier to forget your purchases when it's not got a visual, physical reminder such as disc/card etc.
Whats worse is the latest trend of selling pieces of card that have codes on. That is the bigges...
Never trust digitally downloaded content. Always buy physical still where I can.
