The days when games were about gaming are gone. Now it just seems that developers are just using everything they can to squeeze more cash out of us. It's great to see so many people resisting it - but from watching whats happend over the years (with so many similar stories) I don't think they care! Gaming has become much more mainstream and as a result, they want to cash in!
Sad days. I blame the free to play games which started all this dreadful sh*t. Basically a tacky fruit machine built into a game.
Have more offline multiplayer games then...like nintendo.

I gave up by never buying these games due to lack of decent sp and ai bots.
Offline bots and local split screen (minus Nintendo) are continuously ignored - even though there are threads and threads of people wanting them in games. MP games aimed at casual players (ie quick and cash) seems to be the greedy model developers are using. Depressing.

Both Ms and Sony need to follow Nintendos trend of more sp games, local coop games and family games. Nintendo outsold both consoles - seriously!
