im excited for it, loved both previous games on ps3 and am looking forward to using the new nvidia forced FXAA and hopefully, by the time this comes out, forcing TXAA will be an option in this game and many others
also, besides the jaggies, my only other complaints about the game were the bad framerate (blightown anyone??) and the low resolution
hopefull they ad native 1080p support, regardless 60 frames and no jaggies plus new areas and bosses make the pc version ...
compared to a modded pc version, gtav looks last gen, once the modders get a hold of it though, it should look awesome!!

don't get me wrong, i want the game a lot and quite enjoyed the first, but hearing they are spending triple on it but seeing it look largely the same makes me wonder if even half of those extra funds were allocated to the actual game, what it could be.

epic does it on the port from pc to 360/ps3 all the time, gears of war 1 on pc looks a full generation beyond gears 3, they had to "dumb down" the ue3 engine like crazy to get it to run on consoles.
batman ac on pc, dude, it looks amazing, on consoles it looks good, but it was certainly "dumbed down"
movies have more realistic violence as well, it is the evolution of tech, it keeps getting better, but also, more acurate which can sometimes be a lot to take in for younger audiences.
if i had kids (i dont, and dont want to) they certainly would not play m rated games until they were 14 or so, by then they are pretty much who they are anyway imo
parents need to lay the foundation of responsibility, right and wrong, ect way before then.

ubi does this because they know the pc version looks 20x better, it $10 cheaper and has way better performance, so, to justify the $65, sub hd, 25 framerate console versions, they have to make it the only version available for a limited time.
From my experience, cloud gaming on a pc easily 10-15x more powerful than a ps3 sux (my gtx680, i-7 2600 pc playing onlive), cannot imagine it will be that great on a ps3
theres lag, framerate issues, input delay, bad anti alias and its only 720p, sure, its a bit better than ps3/360 graphics, but certainly not a generational leap like actually playing a dx11 pc game.
next gen consoles wont touch a good pc from 2010, it doesnt matter if they come out now or a year or two from now, they still will have NOTHING on a gtx480 and i-7 2600, let alone more modern rig with a gtx 680
