Because price hiking and withholding content from games to charge for as overpriced DLC later on just isn't enough for these greedy publishers, Activision and THQ need even more money and they will do anything that they can to bleed the gamer dry.
Treyarch generally seem like a bunch of nice people and a very down to earth development team, even though they've generally been shat on by people for not being Infinity Ward. It's a shame too, I remember at one point even Infinity Ward themselves were being very rude and insulting towards Treyarch as well.
I hope they do well, especially since IW nearly murdered the COD franchise with how bad Modern Warfare 2 was, and now it's down to Treyarch to attempt to pic...
Shame really, I love quirky Japanese games but unfortunately SCEJ seems to keep screwing up lately (with the only exceptions being Echochrome 2 and Patchwork Heroes). The new Ape Escape looks terrible too :(
I couldn't care less about 3D, but one thing (or rather two) that has me really worried about Killzone 3 is the introduction of matchmaking (bye bye server list) and the effect this will have on the game. They've already had to drop the player count from 32 to 24 which is incredibly disappointing, and combined with matchmaking I think they're really killing what made Killzone 2 so good in the first place, just in an attempt to cater to people who probably won't buy the game an...
lol it's just canned animations. Nice!
Personally I hope that they don't fix the bugs. I mean when those two fighters had no arms and were wriggling around I was honestly in tears from laughter, it just looks hilariously fucked up. Same goes for the stretching neck thing too.
I mean yeah bugs suck and usually can really mess a game up, but I would honestly buy this game if they had a bug mode or something where all sorts of weird things like that happen randomly during the fight. An armless dance off would own...
B-b-but Microsoft said that Halo would!! Did they lie about sales yet again? :(
Hahaha, Move sells out and the Xbox Defense Force comes rushing to the comments section for damage control. Absolutely pathetic.
Now that's what I'm talking about. More games need to bring the cock.
Only 700,000 players? Ouch, I thought Microsoft said that this was going to outperform Modern Warfare?
It's kinda weird that the way the Move is sold has him worried. He made two No More Heroes games on the Wii, and it obviously didn't bother him that the Wii remote and nunchucks are sold seperately, so why is he suddenly so bothered that Sony sells things seperately too? It makes no sense and basically contradicts everything he has done so far this console generation.
Wow, the 3DS will be a day one purchase for me. I just really hope that the handheld is eventually cracked like the original DS was so that I can use all my favourite emulators and homebrew too. No doubt the 3DS will be plenty powerful enough to run MAME, I'd love to play awesome stuff like this and also have access to my favourite MAME shooters on the go as well.
Certainly preferable to the PSP too considering you can close the lid and have the screens safely protected i...
It could just be a re-release of MAG. They currently have the beta active for people to test out new modes and Move support, so perhaps when it's fully tested and ready they will launch the game a second time at a budget price with all the new content to give the community a big boost? Sounds reasonable.
Only a couple weeks until my XBL subscription expires, can't say I'll miss it when it's so inferior to what Steam and PSN provides. If other 360 owners have any sense then they too will vote with their wallets, rather than bending over and taking it like fools.
It's absolutely hilarious seeing this Omega guy ranting away in the comments section of every PS3 article on this site. Well kinda hilarious anyways, it's also quite sad and embaressing too. Shine on you crazy fanboy :(
Unfortunately for Microsoft, America is not the only region on the planet, which is why the PS3 is getting so close to overtaking it now.
I'd like to be excited but after the horrificly broken mess that was Gears of War 2 it's hard to get excited. I'd love Gears 3 to come along and be a good game but after the absolute mess of a game Epic gave us with Gears 2 I don't think they're really capable of it. I mean damn, it took them over a year to fix the Gears 2 matchmaking so that people could actually play the damn thing online, then the absurd amount of bugs and glitches on top of that, it was one of the bigg...
Who cares what anybody from Rare thinks? Their whole development studio is a joke and they haven't made a good game for 2 whole console generations now, the fact that they're trying to point at Activision as some evil nasty corporation that doesn't respect the IP when they're just crapping out shovelware for Microsoft is hilarious.
Yup. It's much faster and easier to navigate, and I find I can access and do what I want much faster with the XMB. I've never liked this current dashboard ever since Microsoft released it in that "New Xbox Experience" update, it's just horrid. There are advertisements everywhere and so many things are tucked under layers of menus, it's just dreadful.
Having said that, the guide that you bring up during gameplay isn't so bad. The actual dashboard...
Yup, no sources or real facts. Funny that they're attempting damage control though :)
