I had something like that happen to me, with the Last of Us (except it was from Futureshop - which is basically BestBuy). They had an online promo where if you preordered the game, you would get a steelbook (they normally require you to preorder IN-STORE only to get any steelbook).
Anyways, so I pre-order and never got the steelbook. I contacted them twice via e-mail, called them 3x times, and even used Twitter to complain. They wouldn't budge and said "no deal ever ...
For me, it's usually because a sidequest or mini-game has me stumped, and until I overcome it, I don't feel right continuing on with the game. It's stupid I know, but I feel compelled to get the extras out of the way.
My example would be Red Dead Redemption - I cannot for the life of me, beat the Finger Fillet game, and while it isn't necessary, I WANT that extra suit, and because I can't overcome the mini-game I just dropped the game. Again, I know it'...
I personally have 2 Collector's Edition preordered, myself. The "uber" one that is exclusive to the United States, and the mid-tier one from Canada.
I want to get the Blackwater Edition from the UK, but that might be overkill, lol.
I was wondering, wouldn't it be "economical" for Sony to drop the 4 and 8 GB memory sticks? It would cut down on the amount of inventory they stock.
Besides, a lot of people are clamoring for higher capacity ones, and the 64GB one hasn't even hit N.A yet :/
Not even Road Rash?
*pulls out chain-linked whip*
"more about the guy talking and hyping his channel"
Quoted for truth!!!
It's pretty sad now, that in the last year or so, I've actually spent more time researching/socializing online, than actually playing games. I don't know what happened, but it's pretty pathetic.
It's taking me forever to beat Dark Souls 1 (which I'm really, really trying to do right now), and I still got a shit-ton of backlogged games...
Hit up their Twitter account. Let your voices be heard.
I usually pre-order if the game has a physical bonus. Gotta have DAT PLUSHIE or keychain, etc.
*throws them into storage never to be seen again*
Do you guys know if the Monopoly games are any good?
I saw COD Ghost going for as low as $9.99 on Amazon.CA. Naturally, that sold out in less than 10 minutes.
Personally, I have never played it.
If your EST, it usually updates around 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The latest was after midnight (that was only one time though, if I recall correctly).
Thanks for listing it all out.
> I'm not sure I feel okay with Fallout 3 outranking F1 and/or F2 - but that's just my humble opinion...
> Nice pics.
This should be fun - it's going to make Polyphony work extra hard to keep up, and I can't wait to see what GT7 will bring.
On the blog it doesn't say U.S only, however when I go to the Playstation store (on my BROWSER and through my PS4) it isn't listed!
:(
Driveclub - a "realm" reborn, lol.
"More people must be buying game consoles than ever before"
Which I think is great, because hopefully it will get rid of the age-old stereotype of "typical gamers" AND will put to rest all those doom/gloom articles about PC/Console/Handheld gaming is dying!
As the old Playstation slogan said "Long Live Play!".
"My only regret was not buying the DLC because it came out after I beat the game several times"
Exactly what happened to me. The game was very nice, but the DLC came out too late, and by then I was knee-deep in other games :/
You know what else I/we can't buy? That Ninja Turtles game, but that's "probably" for the the best, lol...
I just checked the Sony Entertainment Store, and it is true - it isn't listed nor the DLC.
FFFFF, I should have bought the DLC when I had the chance!
If only SSDs were more affordable - the price drops aren't happening enough to make a difference.
I had to stick with a regular 2TB HDD for my PS4.
Also, not a big fan of Seagate being the only cheap TB hdds out there.
