This old geezer! While the entire game is very easy, this boss is pretty tough. Even if you get to level 99 (which I did, for the sake of completion), his strongest ability always kills you one hit. He's also surprisingly fast.
To be fair though, I did make it harder for myself, because I refused to use...
lol, I had to cheese that boss (wore the Thief's ring and pelted him with arrows whenever he dropped aggro). The only boss in that game that gave me grief.
I wouldn't say hardest (but definitely a boss that gave me more trouble than it should have) would be the one in Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment.
The thought of making a "God" character (your character btw) so weak and reliant on minions to do any actual damage to a final boss is utterly stupid. Those said minions can only do actual damage through magic, but OF COURSE, they don't even have a lot of MP to begin with - F that boss!

It's so weird the Battlenet client doesn't allow us to buy their older titles... I have my copy of Diablo 1 (when it was bundled with D2 + Lord of Destruction), but it's somewhere in storage.

I believe it's like a "Definitive/Enhanced" ; edition.
