Sony isn't forcing anyone to rebuy any of their PS2 games. Heck, some of us are missing a large sum of PS2 games in their collection, so rather than having to scavenge Ebay, Amazon, etc. this will give us an opportunity to buy them new.
If this was how RE4 was really like, I would have bought it Day 1.

This is becoming a problem for game collectors such as myself. I obviously can't afford to buy all the new games Day 1, so when I finally can get a copy off EBAY/Amazon for cheap (or I can only get the game there), we miss out on those kind of stuff. It's too bad most of the stuff doesn't get added on PSN/Xbox Live later on...
My latest case: Buying a copy of the Saboteur.. and missing out on the Knife bonus DLC.

That really sucks, but again you have to be aware of the word "EXPECTED". That's usually there, if you order something during a busy month, day, etc.
I've ordered a ton of things from Amazon, and it usually says "two weeks expected" too, BUT I usually get them in 2-5 days tops. The only time where the shipping date actually hit the 2 week mark was during the X-mas rush.

I'm not a big fan of third-party accessories/peripherals. I just stuck with 2 dualshock 3 controllers, and bought real triggers for each of them, at my local EB Games.
Problem solved... IMO...
