Cut off clear communication and censor peoples voices... Watch as everyone abandons the game completely.
My poor mate gets sick every time he uses his. He bought it ages ago but he tried GT yesterday and got sick after one lap apparently. I hope when I get mine I'm okay, jeez.
I have both consoles but prefer PS4 by a wide margin. Will say though; Xbox voice chat is so clear and crisp. Blows Sony's voice chat out of the water. It's the Skype technology yeah?
I know, right?! I've always had a gripe with Gran Turismo ripping off Enduro also.
Quote: 'Even if just speaking from my personal experience, I was planning to buy the game, but have no intentions to do so after the controversy. And I'll be far more apprehensive about buying EA games on launch day in the near future. I could name a half dozen friends who feel the same way.'
This. 100%.
I don't know how anyone could disagree with this.
I have an XboxOne and a PS4... I don't use the X much but I've got the cash to burn for Christmas for the kids too, but yeah... Just no reason at all to upgrade the X to the 1X. They should have been able to release it with at least Crackdown... PS4 really does have better exclusives. I play Witcher and Dragon Age on X1 though!
Suss Leutin09 on YouTube. Man... His review makes this game seem abysmal compared to Battlefield.
Even if you really do like the game his review is entertaining. Hearing a smart dude tear into it is kinda funny.
More like 'Son, go tidy your room, it's a pig sty!' [loads up Skyrim]
Hahaha
Cheers
Yep, my son is 10 so I'll definitely pick up Rec Room then. Thanks for that!
I've got a PSVR... It's put away and is going to be a Xmas present for us... More special for the kids doing it that way... But jeez, it's gonna be a long wait to play this and Skyrim. I'm hangin!
... Especially if we remember the weapon boxes in Borderlands. You opened chests for legendary weapons and they were giving away the keys online all the time. They didn't sell them for a few bucks like they would nowadays.
EA and Activision are like two cooks in the kitchen. They are both dropping pubes in their soups, and it's gone largely unnoticed or cared about.
EA just dropped a while birds nest worth in and we're choking on it.
I'm hangin to hear about Battlefront 2 sales...
Oh man. What if you were able to pick a tier world in Destiny like in The Division or Diablo torment levels... And the weapons/armour found would have better stats with each difficulty level you're in.
Provides that constant challenge instead of just doing that one Nightfall etc
I stopped playing Destiny 2 once I got to maybe 270 light but I'm 700 paragon in Diablo HC mode lol
Whether it's a loot box or other type of micro transaction for a game; designing the games functions and design with the micro transactions in mind, with a design that urges players to spend is a dirty tactic and needs to be addressed. It's a dirty grey area.
Get some good 'family deals' digitally on ps4. I nominate my sons console as my primary and as long as I've got the net on I can play my games at the same time as him. Two digital copies for the price of one. Especially good buying off a psn sale.
Each to their own!
I completed #1 & 2, absolutely one of my favourite game experiences. #2 was such a great sequel.
Never bothered with #3 other than the 2 player demo... Kinda glad my experience wasn't tainted!
I haven't finished Witcher 3 yet... But it's an incredible game. I've been blown away by the quality many times while playing... On a main quest, getting side tracked and doing a side-mission or some minor mission and have it filled with interesting characters and some bizarre or twisted tale... You sit back and know that they didn't need to include whatever you just did in the game, that it could have easily been missed by the player, and its just incredible. For RPG/story fa...
Oh hell... Like the 'Don' mentioned also... I've been suckered in to buying games simply because of a sale and the ease of buying it with a few clicks... Haha
They've nailed me a few times with their trickery!
Too soon to be thinking about PS5...
I do remember being fed up completely of the PS3/Xbox360 generation though! Oh lord
