as soon as the price of ps3 comes down to 300/250 next year wii will disappear.
PS3 will take wii's position. x360 will move to 2nd spot
People are buying wii just because of the low price and nothing else. This is why wii games dont sell. As soon as price of competitor consoles come down wii will disappear

GFK and Chartrack always said that. However Vgcharts has put ps3 slightly behind x360 in their weekly data.
But we know about Vgcharts and we all know that except NA ps3 beats x360 all around the world .
even at a very high price point ps3 was able to match x360 in UK . so with a 279 pound ps3 there is no way Vgcharts estimations are valid (last according to Vgcharts 33000 ps3s were sold vs 40 000 x360s but that is totally wrong)

in terms of global sales ps3 === x360 for the past 4/5 weeks son x360's slight advantage in NA doesnt count.

x360 is not the no1 selling console anywhere in the world. It is no2 in NA but no3 in reality in UK as well. wait for GFK figures before commenting on UK sales

in most of EU ps3 is the no1 selling console followed by wii.
in UK however ps3 is running neck and neck with x360. Uk is the only EU country where x360 is doing decent but not amazing
