So few people understand the truth :(

Interesting though, from a marketing point of view, the sort of brand-loyalty that Sony gently f***ing it's customers in the a$$ has apparently produced. I mean I own a PS3, and it's a great console in many respects. However, just because i own one, i don't feel the need to stick up for it online lol. I also own a 360, and there are plenty of things to slag off about that too.

All that said, this does remind me of the N64 vs pla...

Clearly you didn't read the gentleman's post; 80% of titles are multi-platform. Nothing about the PS3 architecture allows it to invoke greater graphical performance than other, more conventional hardware designs. It's not a "better" design, it's just "different." The PS3 - since it eventually hit the shelves a good while after the 360 - could have simply been a 1.5gen conventional system - more power than the 360 in a conventional hardware architectu...

@Mpiece - lighting is more important than texture detail? What a ridiculous thing to say. You're just making arbitrary, authoritative statements, without any actual authority. Both lighting quality and texture detail are important graphical devices, important yardsticks by which to measure graphic performance.
