They were linear games because the devs wanted them to be, not because their was a graphical trade off.. They wanted to tell the story that way, why you are just being insanley ignorant. Why are you fighting fanboyism with fanboyism?

They fixed the 250000 create xp trophy and replaced it with 2500 like they said they would. No word on that yet which sucks.
You do know that dual the second layer on a dual layer dvd reads slower than bluray ever does. Atleast bluray is at a constant speed and can fetch more data at any given moment than a dvd ever could because of its greater bandwidth.
However by far the biggest advantage the ps3 has over the 360 isnt just bluray. It is the hard drive. Unlike the ps3 the 360 can never depend on a hard drive for its games. MGS4 is a 1st gen ps3 game so those issues will probally never happen again.
The possiblities are endless. I just know we will see some crazy shit during the first week of its release.

I would bet that 90% of devs choose to just keep their games smaller just so they can fit on 1 DVD which in turn holds back ps3 games from their full potential!
A bigger canvas for developers is always better than a much smaller one! You can't even refute the advantages of bluray. It is the number one reason why 360 games hold ps3 games back!

The hard drive in every ps3 is a bigger advantage than bluray. The 360 cant ever depend on a hard drive for anything because not all 360's have one.

and i did the hair dryer fix so I could trade my ps3 into them and got a slim for a 100 bucks. I was so scared my ps3 was gonna screw up when they were testing it in front of me.

I have a beautiful 52 inch bravia with built in game mode setting which takes away all the tv's secondary video processing for games. I would bet none of you would think its a step down from a plasma as far as colors and response time goes if you saw a game on it.
Sony passed on this tech. It just isn't practical but Microsoft didn't care they thought they could sell the idea that "you are the controller anyways"'kinect just isn't practical.
