Nintendo have released new IPs, Mario+Rabbids, Octopath traveller just to name a few and their's more in the pipeline but continue to spew nonsense if it helps you sleep at night.

...lol what? Have you even tried the Switch pro controller? It's basically a rechargeable XB360 controller with 40 hours battery life. Now what part of that sounds bad to you?
If you had a bit of common sense you would understand that Nintendo needed to make the d-pad with buttons in order for 2 player games to work with 2 joycons. Otherwise players would have to buy a second controller separately.

The Wii was an amazing console, it had some of the best games ever made and the best virtual console Nintendo ever released. Sony were super cocky in 2006 and thought they could keep riding on the PS2 train but the real gamers voted with their wallets until Sony finally woke up and cut the price of the PS3.
