That said, this list of games makes me unexcited for anything outside of CoD that Activision has to offer. All games are in stale genres, like Guitar Hero, Simpsons Hit and Run, these are long surpassed genres that are going to be difficult to revive.
My feeling is the "exclusivity" we're seeing with Microsoft buying other companies will all be timed. There's no way Bethesda negotiated to have their total sales cut by 60% or more just to be exclusive to Microsoft. Microsoft will still make money on those sales since they own the IP even if it's sold on Playstation. Bethesda executives would have to be high on drugs to think cutting their sales by such a large margin is good for their profit margins.

At least 2 Call of Duty games are in development for PS5 and will continue development but after that, how much innovation can you really say is left in this already stagnant franchise?
CoD is stale and woke, Fallout 76 is only an indicator that Bethesdas engine is aging very poorly and will never see an overhaul, it's been the same engine for decades because the devs are autistic dorks who can't handle any change.

Honestly, CoD hasn't been good in ages, they've gone woke with their newest game, it's totally in the shitter as a franchise right now. They're out of ideas and it's stagnant. Sony needs to counter by expanding Guerilla Games and having them bring back Killzone. Plus maybe buy Rockstar and make GTA 6 and Read Dead 3 PS5 exclusive, could you imagine?

You have to have a greater number of talented developers who know how to do animation, and make it a priority to spend many hours on like the Insomniac team dedicated. They are also running on two different engines with different capabilities. If you don't have the talent or the budget for this DLC, of course it's not going to be as good as what an enormous talented team is dedicating to their one superhero.

I still can't get past the beginning with the faceless naked crowd of people huddled outside of the elevator, everywhere you go there are those things walking around with no ability to escape them. I looked up a guide and you basically have to cheese it somehow but then there's no direction on where to go in the maze of a building.
The twists and turns by definition make it not straightforward. How high were you when playing it? Did you even finish it?

This whole thing has been poorly implemented. There is nowhere on the PS store promoting this, you need to read the email and the fine print, indicating the timer starts after you press Download, not after you start the game. I downloaded this overnight since it took 4 hours to download, you only get 5 hours after you press download, and both games were expired when I woke up.
