originality...innovation, i thought this was what EDGE held as a vital ingredient for a 'great' game? and yet here we go again with a total lack of concistency in their reviews.
Ah well as long as the people shelling out the money for this game are loving the experience then thats all that matters, i just hope the rumours about 'glitches' in MP etc are not as bad as some people are making out
such a fantastic game and a classic sleeper hit, word of mouth is key for this game, spread the word and dont buy it second hand, its so easy to pick up for a few quid lets give the developer the respect they deserve
its a shame that other issues have occured preventing you from purchasing games at the moment, but thats life i guess good one moment, bites your a** the next :-)
However, at no point in my comment did i ever state that xbox FB's were worse (am not sure how you came to that conclusion but its cool), i agree their all equally as bad as each other and the sooner we can get rid of them the better!

I fully agree that your comments regarding FB's are true but it is not just the PS3 that is infected with them...the 360 has some of the most rabid fans on the planet (i did not murder him for one) and they post in here just as often as the PS3. overpriced equipment with pretty boy looks but often lacking substance underneath. Take the iPhone, touted as the worlds greatest phone but with a poor camera, no video and no mms capability until very recently plus the bluetooth connectivity is awful as it is locked to only other apple products
In the UK their laptops are massively expensive and you need to fork out even more to get a reasonable spec

sorry to sound like a broken record on here but how can a single player game with 12+ hours gameplay be a negative...it seems there is just no pleasing some people

this is actually a really fun game, bought it for my daughter, she loves it, and i am hooked too, simple fun
Please dont tar all the ps3 owners with the same brush, i agree there are far to many extreme rabid fanboys on both sides of the house who have lost focus on what really matters, which i find very sad.
But there are also plenty of people such as me who love gaming and dont have any axe to grind with anyone or any system

metacritic might have something to do with that, also allowing games to achieve perfect scores to often in the past (no game is perfect ever), the myth of the AAA title, and the belief that 9 or more is nothing more than average is born!
7.5 is a good score, we really need to get a grip on reality again and stop looking at scores and call me crazy but maybe...just maybe start enjoying games again for what they are and what they give us?
LoT appear to be a very well respected group who never seem to have an axe to grind with one system or another which i find refreshing.
They seem to be very impressed with UC2 which does beg the question what were IGN looking at when they decided the graphics on UC2 and Halo ODST were equal?
I am a firm believer in graphics not being the be all and end all of gaming but instances like this do puzzle me
No blood=bad idea it seems that this is the main reason for the review score? Why didnt they have an option button at the very least the mind boggles. Have the developers said why they took this option?
That aside i am with EvoAnubis, the hate and bile getting spewed all over this site is getting more ridiculous all the time
