Well, since PS3's exclusive line up is around Oct~Feb,09. I guess that's the meaning of just wait. E3 do reveal many interesting info. about PS3 big title.
RS2 shows gigantic boss game play, KZ2 revealed multiply mode, LBP got smoother(I found previous release game play video suffer frame rate problem), inFamous is alive and GOW3 officially announced.
Still we missed some game title like White Knight Story, GT5P and Home

I believe most people felt upset aren't because how Sony will suffer, but what SE said and did...
SE kept saying FF13 is exclusive title for years, then suddenly go multi-platform on E3.
SE then said the game world is changed and thus multi-platform serve more audiences, but still they kept other console game exclusive.
Despite SE now pretty much dis PS3 completely. Sony won't go down b/c of this, they do have quit good exclusive coming ...

Simply translate: we just want more money, but we gonna kept exclusive game for X360 so we also think "single platform doesn't necessarily limit the market".

With SE current action, I doubt FF7-remake will be exclusive at all.
It would be most possible to go multi-platform, or they can announce FFversus13 go multi-platform as "shocking" news.

It is better to avoid long period of pause on using X360, since often malfunction come with that.
So just send it back to MS and they will get you a new one or else.

Of course SE owes no loyalty to Sony and "traitor" is a word too strong to use, but I do think "betrayed" is pretty solid word for this situation.
After all who cares? when does gamers' idea or loyalty matter? People will still buy the game and SE will still make big buck. This kind of article just thrive to ride on the pulse ...

beside if they just want to expand their western market, PS3 still got US 5.31M and EU 6.56M install base and isn't it a good addition to add onto X360 install base?

Seriously, SE took side with X360 is pretty much for sure now. Surprised and confused at the same time, their strategy is understandable.
They will have their X360 team work on LR and SO4, while almost all the PS3 team on FF13 (thus no SO4 and LR delay on PS3). After FF13 is done, X360 team can work on FF13 ports and PS3 team will split to work on FF13 US/EU version and FFversus13.
So SE pretty much ...
It will have good sell and perhaps bring up console sales, reasons?
First of all, FF series have established large fan-base in both US/EU region.
Second, I believe not every gamer who want to play FF13 already bought PS3. Many saved their money till it actual released, and thus now they can choice which console to buy since FF13 appear on both PS3/X360.
I doubt it will be region free if SE press on the limitation of X360 version. But with SE's action with FF13 port, I believe everything is possible.
In fact, I doubt any SE title on PS3 will be exclusive in the future. SE can pretty much kiss some ass again at August to announce FFversus13 going to X360. Hell ya! who cares about what gamers think!? As long as more money is coming, ain't that right?

What SE did is for their own good, don't use such cover up story to hide it. Thus from now on, SE pretty much discard all the ethic and their PS3 "exclusive" pretty much means "time-exclusive".

Another point is I always believe PS3/X360 are pretty much have the same hardware ability (though each have their own advantage/disadvantage), so to express a title is "impossible" on another console sound pretty arrogance to me.

I clearly remember (ya,I am a FF fans)that Nomaru said in an interview "it is highly possible to remake FF7 if the original team can assemble together", and in my knowledge these team now are working their ass off on FF13 series
