KH3's dev time has not been long, it hs been under the works for roughly two years, year and a half. FFXV's is also not that long, it's closing in on three and a half. Don't confuse FF Versus XIII with FF XV. The actual development for PS4 started only a short time ago.
I know it's not the same, but you can consider the big team combos to be your limit breaks. Fishing and mini games are confirmed, and I think I heard somewhere that towns were too, because you could go to them and get food or sleep and such, but I don't remember where I heard it. I'm also curious about summons, but the FF12 ones were not "new" they had showed up before in Ivalice
But the main story remains unchanged, so it's technically still Nomura' story.
Nomura dreamt too high. Tabata is a doer. I'm glad that the story and world and mythos were well established and written by a dreamer, but what the game needed was a doer, and since Tabata moved in two years ago things have realy been looking good, transparent and honest. I wish Nomura the best in KH3, and Tabata as well in his new project.
There´s no need to be scared. Wait for the demo, play it, form your educated and unbiased opinion on the game, buy it/skip it, resume living a happy life as a gamer with a plethora of games to choose from.
You do know that this game started production way before Xenoblade? So...no copying there. It´s much more of a Type-0 KH hybrid on steroids
The release date has already been anounced, go look into it a bit. I´m sure you´ll find it.
Amazing game! Awesome to play it online with friends, and it's a great alternative to diablo
I think you misinterpreted, ther will be infact an improvement in anti aliasing in the final product.
There will be a mini map, this is confirmed, probably missing here because the devs wanted to have a more cinematic demo, or maybe because they already know the area like the palm of their hands, as they should.
@lifeisgamesok Your comment is all kinds of wrong. DC has just as many if not more objects in the background, it not only renders the croud, the trees, the grass, the dust and water particles, windmills, baloons, etc, all kinds of stuff, you name it, it also renders real time 3d clouds, an after the patch even puddles of water will be fully 3d rendered with real time drying conditions. No excuses, seeing as even the draw distance for rendering should be similar in both games.
Except that´s not how things work. Never at any point during gameplay will the whole world be rendered in FH, it´s only a set distance that is, and from what we´ve seen, Driveclubs backgroundds, which sport a huge draw distance, might even be as big as the ones being rendered in FH, and guess what, they´re more detailed, and every single cloud, wind draft, weather condition is calculated real time, with an actual to scale atmosphere between the tracks and the sky( clouds ar...
Not by a long shot.
It´s from the creators of ICO, and Showdow of the Colossus, two of the finest PS2 games, and games in general, to be produced.
It is the best looking racing game bar none, what diferentiates it easily from Project CARS is the great level of attention to detail. The diference is quite visible
It´s next gen only my boy.
The slow motion time is optional, you can play without it you know? Also, the Phantom pain will feature gadgets and camo as well, even including stuff from Peace Walker in there. Anyway, it will be a good MGS because it will be a good game and it´s called MGS, not because it needs to stand to a personal definition of what a game in a series should be. Things need to change, and untill the game comes out, one should withold from judging if it changes for better or worst. This is also true...
I think Sony should also consider Portugal, seeing as it´s the closest country to USA in Europe, and it´s also Sony´s best market(percentage) in Europe.
The thing is, the original code was meant for ad-hoc, and not online as we know it, and certainly not using PSN. It would be necessary to re code that entire portion of the game to make it work, and the team said that as they are trying to speed up production in KH3, they prefered not including online.
In terms of dev time it isn't, because they had to redo every single last asset and port it to an engine that is being finished at the same time as the game. Technically, every single thing you will see in FFXV aside from story, characthers and lore only started being worked on about three to three and a half years ago.
