I doubt that anything like this would ever come to market, despite how I'm sure there are developers who would make it. Microsoft is incredibly strict with the content the allow on XBLA so a FULL RETAIL game would be inconceivable.

I completely agree. You hear about how "noble" these people will be when they open up the system to allow homebrew, but they get all pissed because piracy is taken away.

I call bullshit. Releasing a game with glitches is one thing, but releasing a game that is just BROKEN, even under ideal conditions, is no excuse. Come on guys.
It's just a balance. You have the perfectionists like Yamauchi and Gran Turismo, or you have the Fallout 3/Vegas that are so bug-ridden at release and they say "we'll fix it later."

I remember this was announced for XBLA in the summer (or maybe early fall?) but no PSN specifics were announced. Good stuff!
Since the first year and a half of the last three years or so was actually mostly stuck on replaying PS2 games that I never had the chance to play before, I am glad to say that I shelled out that the premium for the BC. I don't use it as much any more because there are just too many games for me too play and I CAN'T let my backlog grow any more, I love my PS3.
