When your making a game for two platforms you will not always make more money. Final Fantasy VII has sold 9.8 million until today, yeah I know they made a PC version for it to but that was after a long time and it dident sell good at all. When Resident Evil 2 was made for the PS1 it sold 6 million copies. Final Fantasy X has sold 6.5 million copies until today. Yeah and the list goes ...
5.3 on IGN so xbox owners saying SE move to xbox is a good thing. There is deffantly allot of xbox people that dont understand Sh!t about Square's success before with Sony. The thing with producing games on two platforms is a big problem, there are three main reasons for this:
1. More Stress for developers
2. It costs more money.
3. It takes twice more people.
I still remember the word they said at e3 2005: We will fully support and backing the PS3. And even at e3 2006 XIII was to be exclusive why they hell did they say XII was gonna be exclusive when they cant keep there promise. When PS2 launched the sales dident blow threw the roof the two first years. It really started good after 3 to 4 year. but still SqaureSoft was willing to wait and see how it went.
