I used to be a sony fan till they gave up on gamers just to push BetamaxHD. They're screwing and lieing to their own fanbase. Its ridiculous.
Sony telling lies to its "valued" customers isnt a new thing. From release dates, to emotion engines, to media formats, to periferal support.
Although chances are the movie would be a disapointment, I was still looking forward to going to see it in the theater.

There are no working mod chips for the 360. I mod chip and hacking the DVD firmware are 2 different things. A mod chip completely opens the console via hacking the bios, the firmware mod bypassed the media check to allow you to play games off DVDR. A real modchip being released would be all over the internet, not just one site that's not even on the scene.
This has yet to be confirmed. Many groups have claimed a working mod chip over the last year, none of them worked. Dont get all excited yet because chances are if you didnt see it on xbox-scene.com or a similiar site its a hoax sent to a media site.
There are alot of whiteanese people that think everything out the japan makes it cool. 95% of anime is garbage, but its geek trendy so they watch it.

Oblivion is as large as a game will be till Square releases another game with 30 hours of FMV. If you think developers will run with the extra space, your mistaken. its not something developers worry about. It was an issue at first with the gamecube, but eventually they found better compression methods. Stupid people think more media space means better games. Games arent to the point of needing a new format like movies. They're not filling DVD9's yet, why would we need to jump games to bluray...
When they port a 360 game to ps3 (which is most games) why do they need the extra room for blu ray? They wont, that's why ps3 games are on a DVD9. The poor read speeds of bluray will not go over well with impatient gamers.

No ps3 games that are currently in development will be bluray. what!? Blu-ray loads WAY too slow and there are no games that take more than 9GB of data. With faster consoles comes better compression.
There is no need for HD or bluray games. HD textures are larger, but the systems are faster so they can compress those textures to the same size or smaller than textures on the current gen. Its faster to decompress than it is to read off the disk.

very exciting news. crap load of games and 1080p support. I dont have 1080p, but someday during the life of my 360, I just might get one.
MMO's have a monthly fee. They can remove the monthly fee but then you'll be paying alot for downloaded content or like guild wars expansion sets and poor customer service. Free would be nice, but based on the previews, no ones going to play this game anyway.

What's the difference between buying a used game, borrowing your friends copy or playing a copied disk with a mod chip?
