eurogamer is not perfect but i can see why it pisses off the ps3 enthusiasts because it punctures there delusions (ps3 is the best) on a regular basis. The comments of a lot of these people moaning here truly beggar belief. I assume they are american retarded 12 year olds and they make me fear for the future of mankind.
its refreshing to see not every big release game automatically gets a ten which i feared after the less than perfect halo 3 and gta 4.
you should be grateful that he has not been paid off or biased and his doing his job. most of the ps3 owners who frequent this site will buy the game. enjoy it. its just one of those games that is not everyones cup of tea. i like metal gear solid but have a problem with the cutscenes i personally find them generally incredibly boring.

it was an okay game with good cutscenes but the central character was one of the most irritating characters in any medium. It was like they were trying to ram down your throat "strong female character". Always serious lacking any charm, same as the game really. It's the right thing to kill the series off.

As if fearful of a pretender coming to claim the crown of best graphics in a racing game. Yes its not all about graphics although they do help. I had the demo of gt5 and found it was pleasant enough but a bit sterile for me. Certainly the gameplay/handling was not much of an evolution from previous games. This bloke is absolutely correct. As he says when it was released it was great playing one of the first next gen games. Now however going back it feels like a joyless experience. I couldnt even be bothered finishing episode 2 as it was so boring. Which is why it is annoying when people bang on about it being one of the best games ever, I disagree.
force feedback e.g. is when you steer left and the steering wheel resists as you would expect in a real car. This is a feature of arcade racing games and some pc steering wheels.

I was pleased with it myself when I was a ps3 owner, but it really is no different from the old rumble as Phil Harrison actually went on record to say. It is what it is rumble, no more. Quite an ill informed article. "It has Forcefeedback". It seems to have been written by a naive kid.
The dualshock 3 is old news. I had one for ages before I sold my ps3. It felt no different from the old ps2 rumble. Although slightly better than the sixaxis due to its increased weight its laughable how long it has taken to be released. To the hapless ps3 owner however I think it is better than nothing.
I and others who have played it think this is a great game. It's a blockbuster and does what it set out to do well. It was never intending to revolutionise the genre but rather has a great story with the best graphics yet for such a game. And you can play it now rather then wait for who knows how long for the new fff13. In fact ff12 put me off final fantasy games. This is the real follow up to games like ff9.
It's very similar to the old final fantasy games. As ever it comes down to your personal views. Speaking as someone who usually has very little patience for these kind of games I think the battle loading is not long but just right.
If you have played the game you'll see that most of the time loading times are acceptable. Quicker as i remember than ff12 for instance or oblivion for that matter. I havent got to the part with the ship yet. Maybe that is a long load time. I don't know I've seen a lot worse Halo 3 for christs sake is 3 minutes to start.

By the way the loading times are so not an issue. In fact I thought the areas loaded quickly, far better than what you would find in other rpg's like oblivion or mass effect. i have the game and think the review is pretty harsh. I don't usually have the patience for this sort of game but is has got me hooked thanks to interesting characters, a solid story and classy presentation. Give it a chance.
Strange either this guy needs a proper tv or needs his eyes testing. For me the 360 one is noticebly sharper. There you go. That is my opinion and we'll just have to agree to disagree.
