Bad start? If you mean the start of the year, Xbox 360 had one of the greatest starts with Mass Effect 2 in January.
EDIT: Yea because when people compare Xbox and PS3 exclusives they always include PC right? Ummm Donny, I know your a PS3 fanboy but you do realize Mass Effect 2 came out this year right? This year isn't over yet, which means there are no GOTY awards going out. If Mass Effect 2 came out in 2009, I guarantee you it would have took the crown over Demon Souls.
Ahhh yes, but our hardware can play these games, even 5 years after our hardware was produced. Yet you have to check your "superior" hardware just to see if your able to run it.

To bad every sports game that comes out every year that's exactly the same as last years game with a few improvements, doesn't get what it deserves. Instead they get high review scores, and tons of sales by the idiots who buy the same game they already own over again.
GT5 is not going to win GOTY, nor will any racing game for that matter.
EDIT: Sure it does offer a lot but racing games are just not the genre for GOTY. There's to many great games coming out and that are already out that will overshadow GT5 for GOTY. I believe GOTY will end up either being, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, or Little Big Planet 2. The multiplayer was to dull and slow for me, it just seemed to generic and nothing that really stood out from other 3rd person online shooters.
I'll take Killzone over COD any day of the week. Killzone is my Mario, COD is for little vaginas.
I don't care if its fair or not, the game looks awesome to me. I wish they would bring it to consoles because I can't stand PC gaming, not to mention my PC couldn't run it worth a damn anyway.
