I played the Beta on 360, it did remind me a lot of SOCOM and I played SOCOM for almost 8 years. I was surprised that I actually liked this game, it was pretty good in the beta phase, not sure if I'll buy it though as I'm hoping SOCOM 4 will bring back my glory days of SOCOM 1 and 2, but I'm not counting on it.
Despite the fact that I hate MW2, the game wasn't technically broken. Glitches like "Javelin Glitch" are glitches exploited by the community to ruin the gaming experience of another player. That glitch didn't happen by its self, it was something you had to do physically. As far as Commando, Chopper Gunner, and Nukes, those are just "cheap" tactics, but the game isn't broken, they work as they was designed to and people just abuse them, i.e. Commando Pro, Lightw...
Personally I do think it matters because it's on the disc and Bungie is restricting players from progressing. If I hit lets say 10th prestige in COD, or the highest rank in Battlefield, I feel like I accomplished something and completed that part of the game by unlocking everything. The way Reach's progression system works, it might as well be treated like an RPG game such as Fable or Fallout. Everything little thing you do earns you cR, not to mention daily and weekly challenges, Com...
It pops up and says Katie has turned. Not sure what happens to her though because on that playthrough I was just having fun and never went back to check on her lol.
They're not bad if you actually play them instead of arguing which games are better over the internet. I own both systems so I have no problem with exclusives.
"But if you think about it, if every game available on the 360 was available on the Playstation 3, and vice versa, wouldn't that be better for gamers in general?"
Not really. Playing Halo on PS3 would just be weird, and playing LBP on Xbox would be even weirder. Sometimes a game is ju...
Why does other people's fun seem to bother you so much? I always see you bashing Kinect, If someone buys those games and has fun with them that's their prerogative. Not everyone likes the same games, no reason to bash on something you have no interest in.
Even though GreenRingOfLife is a troll and everyone knows it, I still agree with him. So far PS+ hasn't offered enough features that I WANT, for me to pay for it. If you have PS+ and you feel it worth it, more power to you, but for me, right now it still isn't.
Ummm not really. ACB Beta you can get from Gamestop and cancel to get your money back, and KZ3 is first come first serve on who downloads a stupid theme. I shouldn't have to pay to have a chance at getting in a beta anyway, with Gamestop it's not bad because it's 5 bucks and you can get your money back. With PS+ you pay $20 for 3 months for a CHANCE to get in a beta. I'll stick to the old fashion way of signing up and hopefully getting picked, and from my experience it's w...
They pretty much what there doing. All you have to do is download a theme and you get the beta if you're one of the first 5,000.
You realize Respawn (IW) isn't making COD anymore right? They are making a new IP, and SledgeHammer took their spot as the 2nd COD developer.
I agree, you know tons of those people who download the stupid theme first are going to be COD players, and they will start up Killzone 3 play for 5 min and then delete it. Which sucks because they are going to loose out on a tons of beta testers, as well as loose the real fans who would actually test the game. I'm hoping there is more opportunities as well, but only time will tell.
Correction.
Only for a select number of PS+ subscribers. 5,000 US and 5,000 EU, first come first serve. What a load of shit.
How about give it to the dedicated Killzone players. You know the ones who still play the game, or hell, even the people who completed the game on the hardest difficultly. That was such a pain in the ass that I deserve to test the game lol.
More like trying to sell PS+ for a CHANCE to get in the beta. Only 5,000 US and 5,000 EU players get in. Sorry but I'll take my chances and hope they have giveaways or something, I love Killzone and really want to help test, but I'm not spending $20 just for a chance at the beta.

Did anyone else notice the Pink Lancer? For some reason.....I find that awesome lol
I've tried that, and every time I start a match within a few seconds or minutes, the screen goes black saying "Connecting to new host". Host Migration sounds good on paper, but I have yet to see it work properly in a game without it being an annoying occurrence.
Damn I can't wait to try this. Always loved Gears Of War.
One issue though. Host Migration. It sucks in MW2, and it sucks in Halo: Reach, so Epic make the shit work right and not migrate host every 5 seconds, it's more annoying that it is useful.
What the shit is this?
Yea maybe here on N4G, even Xbox fans here hate COD. Looking at the big picture though, COD is the most popular game for PS3 and 360. I agree though it means nothing because it's also supported on Xbox, if the PS3 and PC only supported 3D, then yea it would probably mean something to Sony as they would have the upper hand with the better platform choice.
Exactly, the people claiming they got reset and didn't do anything are full of shit. Every single person that posted on Bungie.net saying they didn't cheat got shot down by Ferrex when he posted the exact times they was cheating. People are getting boosting and cheating confused. Boosting is okay, such as the ONI Sword Base, Grunts, etc. The people who are getting banned are the people manipulating the network to reset the daily challenges Bungie puts out. I've seen so many people...
I don't think everyone has to like a game that everyone else does, but at the same time, this is the guy who gave Blade Kitten a higher score than this game, if that tells you anything. Plus it's not like this is the first time this guy has rated a game very different from other reviewers, he does it all the time, either really high when everyone else is really low, or really low when everyone else is really high. Not saying his opinion is any better or worse than IGN, Gamespot, etc, ...
