Hey, if they give me a SOCOM Vita with that kind of voice recognition, I am so in. Besides, it's optional in that scenario and I can just use buttons to give commands.
Ah, and here lies the problem with Metacritic - the aggregation completely breaks down when you go to a site that uses the school grading system. An F could be anywhere from 0-59 out of 100, assuming you follow the American school system. So who knows what 1UP would have given this game on a 5, 10 or 100 point system - I know it probably would not have been a flat 0; the game is at the very least playable after all, and does have a few redeeming qualities.
It would be pretty cool, I'd just like to be able to move at a quicker pace than his slow, brooding one.
Well, I liked Power Stone so this sounds promising.
Wow, this is one franchise I do NOT see as MMO material...
I like that they've simplified the attributes to just three. Hopefully it's all well-balanced.
I can't wait for this, thatgamecompany's interactive pieces are in a class of their own.
It's a lot of fun, and I could see the asynchronous multiplayer working really well.
Damn, I hadn't signed up for an account there before the outage...Oh well.
Same here, I was sold after the first half of the demonstration. I never even played the first (I know, I know...I'll get around to it one of these days), but I am definitely picking this one up.
At first I was expecting the response to be boilerplate crap, but it looks like someone did actually hand-type this e-mail. Poorly.
I have to agree with the last statement of the article; it does sound like MS was relieved they weren't the hacking target.
There we go, right article lol.

Edit: Ugh, wrong article haha.
The hackers just need to go back to tinkering with their own gadgets. Or at the very least not make these stupid threats like what "LulzSec" is doing.
Agree, there were so many FPSes and TPSes out there it was hard to keep track, let alone differentiate all of them.
We so excited.
(Sorry, I had to!)
Most likely NTSC, why?
Wish I had time to see it at E3, but from what I'm hearing I can also add a "Whoa."
Played this for a very brief time at E3, it was really fun. Building on the fly adds an RTS-like strategy to it!
I both like and dislike this. It sucks for those who are freshly revived and getting their bearings again. I think it should play out like this:
Once you are revived, you have a short window of opportunity (1 or 2 seconds) of invincibility. However, using a weapon of any kind within this time frame cuts off your invincibility. I think there are a few games that do this but none that I can think of at the moment.
