I have no problem with trophies. But, I just wish they were good for something. You know? like trading stamps. I really think you should get a free game or something. I really thought that PS Home would of been the venue for these kinds of rewards. Home was a really great idea but ended up being a waste of resources. Ahh..
Yeah. So, Rockstar amkes millions of bucks on GTA5 and Pachter predicts they will make another one. Major news. No, I thought the honchos at the earning meetings sat around and said "Hey, Bill, we just made $200 million on that GTA5 so make sure we never do that again!" LOL!
I would prefer another RDR or GTA. I dont care much about Bully. But, just my opinion.
Who fucking cares? You really gonna cry about a few days. Christ, the way people are going on, you'd think they said it wasn't coming out for the PS4 at all. Please.
Well, I guess this has a bit to do with age as well. As a grown man in his 40s, I don't get what people expect from a video game. And I have had all of the old systems going back to the Atari 2600 and all the ones that came after. I feel that these games were worth the money I paid. I judge by how much enjoyment I got from them.
Unless you were expecting something completely different. WHich some may have been. I personally love it so far. And I would Pre-order a sequel right now.
Well, I can see the majority of people seem to go by reviews only. Which is the mistake. If more folks played it first themselves (Like back in the old,old days!) where there was mostly word of mouth, maybe things would be different as far as hyping things into the stratosphere beyond reasonable expectation.
Well, when you say it "moved out of it's niche", I agree to a point. as far as marketing goes, it is getting more coverage. But that difficulty will always alienate a certain portion of the gaming population.
They should add matchmaking for all modes.
I don't agree. Considering I always end up paying around the same for my wife and I to go see a movie at the theatre. Another good example is I am going to the Museum today and each ticket is $28 for adults so there you go. If the game lasts 8 hours or even 6, it's still worth more than a 1hr 45min movie or two or three hours at the museum not including parking and lunch mind you. So, everything is relative.
I can now make an educated opinion of this game after having played it. I personally give it an 8.5. That's just me though. I very much enjoyed the story and the game-play feels fresh to me after having everything being the usual two hands holding a gun militaristic "Hoorah soldier, you saved Merica" type affair although Dying light is also of the same quality I believe. The graphics are really nice and the letter-boxing doesn't really bother me at all though I can see why s...
Is this really an article telling us "We have nothing to tell you right now"? Really?
I can accept a game has trouble as long as they eventually fix them so they function well. In my case a good example would be BF series. I always cut them some slack because they always take a lengthy time to get the bugs ironed out. I can'y comment on the other titles you mention though.
I agree. I played the first 20 min or so of The Order last night and I can see why some people are not happy with it. It has the some of the same type of vibe as Heavy Rain, gameplay wise in some segments from what I saw. I personally really am enjoying it. But, I happen to enjoy these types of games quite a bit and I don't mind if it's a bit on the short side.
It's not a bad game really. I enjoy it.
Sorry! Meant "Like a Bozo" not that you are one! LOL!
I would be glad. 90% of the time when I join people they do stay for the whole duration. Note to you, everyone doesn't "Nerd rage quit" all the time. maybe for you they do for some reason. "TO my favor?" that would be anyone joining automatically. Many other games BTW have this and simply put, if you don't have any friends you know available, an auto match making option would be good and they could very easily match you with same level people BTW, it isn't diff...
I've had enough of this baloney. Yesterday, there are stories saying how the Order is great and the criticism is untrue and unfair, now it's going to flop. Just, please everyone STFU. Bottom line, We'll find out on Friday. I truly think it's going to be pretty good myself. But like I've said, leave it up to individuals to make their own opinions. I find it difficult to believe it will flop.
Are we supposed to be excited by the fact that there is a decent looking woman playing Evolve? Insert Facepalm here........
I really think that EA may have learned a hard lesson with the rocky BF4 launch and that could be the reason they are trying to make the Hardline launch much smoother. Maybe it could be named Battlefield: Hard lesson! LOL!
Basically, This game, like some others is a mix of A) alternate history with fantasy/steampunk adult thematic setting. B) Hybrid third person/cover shooter C) Cinematic like heavy Rain-ish etc, type game with heavy dialog and some firefights with a smattering of QTEs thrown in. With a mixture like this, a lot of people may have all come to the game with differing expectations. In the end, if you're not afan of the above things I mentioned, or if you like some of those things, yet dislike ...
