I play this game and it's exactly what you'd expect if you played it before. I enjoy it for what it's worth. I got it with IW. Also, sick of hearing morons complain about prepubescent players talking about their junk. I hardly ever hear that. And guess what? Either play with friends or use you trusty mute option. But for the love of GOD, if you don't like it, please play something else and quit bitching.
I usually finish story based games relatively easily. But Some I just never went back to. The problem for me is that I only have a small window of time to play these games each day. And More often than not, I tend to go to my MP, FPS games so that I can talk with some friends on my list. So, my time runs out. Now on a holiday, if I get a chance, I may try to check out some games I haven't finished, but hey, that's married life! If I had children, I'd probably never get to play!
I bought and really enjoyed COD:IW and got this as a bonus. That was worth it very much. People bitched about having to buy the game they didn't want to get the one they did back then, now they still bitch about it when offered separately? I would say it's worth it as a standalone if you never played it before or just want another optional FPS to play in your library. BTW, the remaster is fantastic.
Here's what I believe could happen in the next gen cycle. Due to the architechture of the PS4 the ps5 will most likely accomodate scaling in the games. Meaning the PS5 may play the same PS4 games anyway (Ala PS4 Pro). Possibly allowing the game to be run at a higher rate on the PS5. Actually, the SWBF2 looks to be pretty good. I was interested in hearing about the other new story driven SW game, but, I can wait. It looks like they improved on SWBF quite a bit to be honest.
Well, to be fair, SO much info leaks all year leading up to the show. And then even after reading dozens of stories and rumors about what may or may not be there people still expect shit loads more. I thought they gave me everything I was interested in hearing about. Except that, the big names aren't coming till next year (Which Sucks). But I don't know. How much more can they give everyone? Not really. They create huge masterpieces that take years and lots of money and resources to make. ANd when they do release, they sell large amounts and receive support for many years after. So, I wouldn't worry too much.

To me, it's a game and I don't give that much of a shit. For that matter does anyone believe that these things must be truly authentic in a game setting. We play these things to unwind and have fun And also, maybe get a bit of information on the subject as well. If you want a legit history lesson about our nations military conflicts, go watch the History channel or read a book about the subject. I mean really who cares? This genre has been done to death already.
