Sometimes meeting everyones expectations from the financial perspective to the players perspective is a beautiful thing. We actually could use less of change just for change sake. Thats my 2 cents anyway.
Actually, "censoring" hate speech and offensive material (Kind of because of MSRB and the fact that they have to) doesn't fall into the same category as the Nazis and their brand of "Censorship" if you get my meaning.
Just wanted to point out that if you "Enjoy the franchise" why would you not buy this one because of a perception that they're catering to SJW and have some add on like a prosthetic limb. Which btw, they just came out and said they were going to "tone down" the more wacky customization options. I love the game personally and aside from the regular hiccups that are always there when a new BF launches, I find it to be better that BF1 personally.

I'm not listening and taking the word of some kids whining that in a 20 min demo of a game that lasts for dozens of hours didn't excite them enough. Thats like seeing 5min of a 3 hr movie and saying ehh, it's boring. There was too much talking. Me no like talking only boom boom.....
There is no "Over hyping" a game. People need to relax and adjust expectations. Did you play the first one, or GTAV? Well, guess what? This will be much like that only bigger, newer, with lots of stuff to do. There you have it.

Actually, I read a bunch of Indiana Jones books back in the day,, and I think Uncharted could be like that. I love that stuff. Ehh. I'm sure they'll make another. If it's his daughter, with a little help from dad that would be awesome too.
To be fair, I've played plenty of "Accurate" WW2, FPS games already. I don't mind the little fantasy flourishes at all. I'll buy it and probably play the hell out of it for a while. Just as I did all the others. Nice knowing the Maps are free this time around though.
I know what the author means. But, I enjoy my games regardless of online or not. I don't have the time I once had to play for 5 or 6 hours straight. But, I still enjoy popping in for a few rounds of any Online FPS just to mess around for a few rounds. I also have a bad habit of buying many games and then never getting to them. I'll have to work on that!
I have to admit this, I'm buying all of them. Spiderman, RDR2, COD BLO4, BF5. I'm sure they'll all be great.
Exactly. I bought a launch PSVR and as soon as I played the London Heist and the Under sea shark experience, I sat there and thought, They finally did it. I have been gaming since Pong came out. So to look at how far they've come to VR and say "Well, it's not good enough" is a crock. You've either never tried it, or you tried it expecting the Holodeck from Star Trek or Ready Player 1. You're not going to get those things exactly today. But, what you are going to get ...
He meant to say that the next gen will be PSVR2 and the PS5 wont support the PSVR 1.0.
This is the problem. Trying to please everyone all the time, won't work. People can cry and cry and there's no proof that those who complain the loudest are even going to buy it anyway.

Agreed. Most people who are familiar with just about any game or franchise rarely need to be swayed by a review. We know what to expect. Sad that game reviews are starting to hurt game developers in the same way movie reviews make or break a film before it even hits theatres. Subjectivity is the word for everything from games to movies to music etc.
