hint - they are over 4 million as of today according to news.
3 million is considered a failure in any console gen.
and in no way would every steam buyer buy one single game... that's the equivalent of me saying

so @sorane - you are saying that to build and maintain their steam accounts site and servers and all the other stuff costs no money? so when a person buys a 2.99 game off of a free account, that is 2.99 in valves pocket?

i am interested in building a pc for gaming, but i have zero interest in a steam machine... why would you take their pre-fab boxes when you could build your own with custom specs? makes zero sense... it's like building a console but not getting any good console games.

i didn't even finish hitman absolution, needed the space for dragons dogma (which you need to start NOW by the way it's amazing and it's the full game with dlc).... plus is too good.
Support was gone long ago. for the one or two games worth playing, it wasn't worth keeping xbl sub... 60 bucks for a year plus 60 to get a game not worth it.
Big difference between that and ps3 with plus, wasnt worth dropping. haven't bought a ps3 game full price since I got plus

ya it's been crazy all right... walked into my local futureshop yesterday and asked about ps4.. the games dept dude stated that he had about 150 people ask about the system THAT DAY and that they were expecting about 20 in a week... this could well go on into feb. at this rate.
It's just a headset with a screen... doesn't really compare to half asssed motion controls
The ps3 version I never had too much trouble with but ya I give the reviewers a 1/10 for their efforts... at least be clear about the issues ffs
well naturally... as you never had a ps2, or even a ps3 for that matter. you don't have anything to compare to. ps2 was the console to "possibly" end all consoles.
and for someone with a username like lifesisgame that is a weak library of consoles.

My phone, a z1, has an integrated ds3 function... but I still hate phone games. first of all small screen, second of all ff5 was like 39.99 on DROID store, I mean Cmon I played that over a decade ago do you really think I'd pay over 5 bucks? so stupid, and all the cheap, free games are sht save for a few

Dragons Dogma dark arisen with no doubt... blows away maX Payne 3, sr3 and everything else I downloaded... it's not without issue but a fun, deep, solid rpg
Edit - this excludes some games I had already bought outright
