I said all along ps4 would not be over 449 and this I expect to be no more than 299.... about twice what a good headset costs is pretty fair considering you can forego a whole tv for it.

ps4 - 12 million * 1/4 install base = 3 million games sold
xbox - 7 million * 1/2 install base = 3.5 million games sold ...(and that's pushing the numbers in xbox favour hard and still coming out at almost double the sales)

I would play titanfall, but only because bf4 is broken... if bf4 gets fixed, no thanks. and I've always said I would get titanfall on ps4 but I'm not buying a 500 dollar xboxone to play it. so there's a huge difference between people saying they would "pick it up" and play on their console of choice as opposed to...

I appreciate your opinion but I still disagree somewhat as I think sony showed they learned a bit about pricing high end stuff... I was expecting ps4 at 449, which it is now in Canada, but some were stating it could be 499 to 549... I don't think they will go too high but if you consider people spend 200 on headsets, 300 to 400 does seem likely..
There are many people like me who work on pc every day and don't touch them at home. I see them post here every day. I own a 5 year old laptop only at my house and I hate it. Patch updates everytime I turn it on, antivirus, spyware, etc, etc just annoys the hell outta me.
Give me ps3/4 with 50 inch 1080 p and surround with real towers, not those 3 inch "home theatre surround packages" and let me just play.

Uhhh headsets are great for that privacy and intimate experience but saying "I don't care what kind of surround you have " is pretty naive.
If you think those cans compete with a 10 sub, four 8 drivers, 2 6 drivers, 4 tweeters, plus a center bar then you are the one missing out. Hearing a tank like that in battlefield is a whole new experience... I don't know why anyone would try to put 300 bucks up against 1-2k anyway but they weren't my words
@bigfatty - while you are right that sony is exposing Vgchartz for the absolute joke it is, in a way the release of these numbers has allowed Vgchartz to do regular updates. Now I see the uninformed stating that Vgchartz is "close " with their numbers.. It's quite ironic really
