Games have pushed their release dates forward in order to avoid CoD's release, leading to less time quality testing.
I see again many PS3 Fanboys here who still search for excuses.. searchin for excuses since the release of the PS3.. but still the PS3 in on 3rd place.

Has Microsoft, Patcher etc ever done an analysis on how the much the 360 has made them because I remember the pre-launch talk was that the system was designed purely to get market share and set up the their next console (so that would sell +100m units)? The reason I ask is because someone I talked to within the industry told me that the console was effectively still in the red due to its marketing budget (which is absorbed partially into Microsoft's annual marketing spend). Grown up rep...

Absolutely brilliant. On top of that you could also tell that the KillZone 3 story has really been worked on along with the enemy AI. Anyone know whether LBP2 was supposed to shown?
As already mentioned this is the author's comments. Plus having just come back from the Playstation Beta event the new Motor Storm is stunning (however GT5 just edged it for me).

Did it actually dawn on you that they released the trailer to actually gather peoples opinion? When the feedback came back negative it allowed they to change the direction/tone of the product. Yes I used the word product and not art or the term form of expression.
If the feedback shapes the game and they subsequently sell a extra 500k units, the company will be patting themselves on back.
