There is not a single day that I play my xbox and i'm not online. I keep my console on quick start settings so i'm even online (somewhat) when i'm not playing.
I bet i can say the same for all you keyboard warriors ON THE INTERNET complaining about always being online. I bet half of you don't even turn your computers off when you're done. The 24 hour check in meant nothing. Just a bunch of people who weren't buying the system anyway complaining.

I really hate that smart tv comment everybody likes to make. no smart tv can do what the x1 does as seamlessly and as easy as the x1 does it. i have a smart tv but when i wanna browse the internet, i do it from my X1, netflix? X1. my smart tv even has games but guess what? games? X1. Only thing my smart tv can do that my x1 can't is 3d. Samsung 50in led smart is what i have. Please let's all stop using this argument.

I think that people, ever since the nes/master system days, that getting a new console just means better graphics. I know thats what wowed me when i was a kid.
But now i'm an adult in the age of the internet. I need functionality as well as better graphics. I'm definitely with you as far as what my main console will be.
I'll get a ps4 eventually, just for exclusives (not missing out on jack this gen) but no ps+ and it will be my bedroom console....
I love it too. I actually always hated when microsoft changed the ui's on the 360 but eventually learned to appreciate why they did. hopefully they don't let me down with this one.
I just hope the store comes with and Indie Crap section. I hate having to scroll through these to get to actual games that i may purchase. I think the library is large enough for a little segregation.
That being said, I cannot wait till Sept to try out the new UI. Being a Day 1'er let's you appreciate the growth of the console and just like the 360, the X1 hasn't disappointed yet.

I think this all comes down to Sony admitting their first party offerings are "sparse" right now. No need to beat a dead horse with games you've shown a few weeks ago. The paris show in october will give their devs time to bring something fresh.
X1 sells at a faster pace than the x360.

Hey kid when games come to PC Microsoft still gets a cut if it's on windows. They've actually put themselves in a win win situation.
If you have a rig that can handle it, get it on pc, if not then get it on the x1 and cross play with pc players.

Only thing that had me worried was the tv show aspect. thought it had a good chance of being some cheesy b rate fmv thing. Glad to see they stepped up their game with quality actors.

No gears was reMADE. No problem with a remake at all. Just those up res'd cash grabs (remasters). Take some time out to remake it or give me BC.
