it's not the face that's off... it's his hair. it looks like he just was at the salon for an hour. Doesn't looky scruffy, looks "pretty".
How is BC2 nominated for Best Shooter but not Best Multiplayer? I would think Best Shooter category would be for SP and Best MP for... Best Multiplayer? SP was pretty generic, MP is insanely good.
Completely agree. Although MW2 Spec Ops IMO was AMAZING. Me and a buddy had such a great time playing each mission on Veteran. Wish there was more co-op in today's FPS's.
I slightly agree, The "polish" was completely missing from SP. MP though was pure gold. It actually beat 007 on the N64 as my favorite MP game of all time. I'll never forget going to my friends and playing split-screen 4 player MP back in the day.
I've been trying to convince my g/f's younger cousin (high school) to try BC2 with me (he's a huge COD junkie) but he refuses. Says he likes fast shooters. Kid doesn't know how much fun he's missing out on. Simple run and gun vs. strategy requir... oh maybe that's why.
Such a fantastic multiplayer. The new free maps they gave to use recently from BC1 are wicked.
No love for Canada.
This is the only game so far that has tempted me to get the Move. Still not sure about FPS, waiting for some more solid impressions from people with final builds of games (Socom 4, Killzone 3). MAG looks weird with the move.
Move only AND it comes out same day as BC2: Vietnam... damn.
Going by that logic: it took them 3 times longer and the result is no where near 3 times better. Maybe a bit better? Don't know I've never played F3. But you'd think 6 years of development would have made this thing a masterpiece but it's not. It's good, but it could have been so much more.
"GT5 will have better online simply because more people will own GT5."
It doesn't sound like you've tried online yet. It's really, really basic. Feels like we're back in 2004. I don't own F3 but if it had any sort of leveling up or reward system (like GT5:P had) just that right there IMO makes the online better than GT5.
I think a better comparison between the 2 games is not which is is better at this or that but which one has bigger problems/faults. I don't have F3 or a x360 so I can only speak for GT5. Bad shadows + sterile/clean environments + some 2d trees + really stiff people/crowds. Those may not bother most people but they were very noticeable to me after playing within the first few hours. So lets hear someone speak up for F3: What don't you like about the game? Handling is one that I always ...
Graphics, do me a favor, go and do the same comparison on your tv and ask your girlfriend/parents/dog/cat (anyone that's a non-gamer) their opinion on the graphics in F3 vs GT5. I don't trust your opinion (don't take it personally I just think gamers are biased and a little crazy, myself included). Then please come back and post your results.
@karl: good point. Just trying to prove that the difference isn't night/day like A LOT of crazy people on this site mak...
It's THAT much better? A million times? Do me a favor and ask your non-gamer parents/friends to have a look at any one of these videos. I bet you they'll say they look pretty much the same. I can't take people seriously on this site that say one looks WAY better than the other, I mean come on is it really that much better? I'm seriously curious, I only have GT5, never seen F3 on a big screen.
"Our Biggest Publish Yet!" That's really not saying much.
Sackboy Prehistoric Moves: not everyone has Move.
Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (Episodes 1-5): what the hell is this?
Fair review/score.
Ouch, Sly Cooper Collection over GT5.
Far Cry 2: beautiful game, horrible single player campaign. Driving around all the time and getting constantly ambushed was such a pain. To this day I still think it has one of the nicest environments to just walk around in.
What modes are these maps for, doesn't even mention it on their blog. Any for rush?
Online co-op = instant buy... there's not enough co-op online games that are really good. My friend and I had a blast with Spec Ops in MW2, one that no one seems to praise enough.
