Even before the days of the internet, everyone somehow "knew" blowing in the game and, if need be, blowing in the NES, would get the game to play.
Other tricks I did:
-Putting the game in almost completely, then pushing it down and having it click on the outter plastic.
-Wedging another game above the one being played.
-Sometimes, not even pushing the game down would get it to work too.
GH3 is $99.99. Rock Band isn't that much more. And with whats bundled with Rock Band, its really not that bad of a deal.
I just always thought Rock Band was more of a party game. Play GH3 by yourself, maybe a roommate. Bust Rock Band out for 3 or more.
Off topic...Imagine learning the guitar, and being able to sing the parts in the mic at the same time.
wrong reply, sorry
"U dont know what you're talking about."
"Halo 3 port"
"Halo 4"
Thats called irony, see...because you also don't know what you're talking about. PS3 won't be getting any "Halo" game. Sorry. Thats like you saying Mario Party 23 will be coming to PS3. Or the 360 getting Warhawk. Don't be dumb. MS owns the halo franchise, and I think you know that.
And whats up with using company slogans all the tim...
Could you imagine...
Madden being an exclusive title to the EA system? And all the loyal Madden fans would have to buy the system, and, and, and...
I can't even think right now.
To hate a game because of hype is just stupid. Hate it because you don't like shooters, because you think the story sucks, because you think the ai is bad...those are all valid...
But Halo 3 really is all about the multiplayer anyway. And even more so, its about xbox live multiplayer. Over the weekend, I saw 1.5 million players on. On a slow weekday, there were almost 500,000 on. So there are people that do get it. I played the single player, and it was...ok. Multiplayer ...
"Virtual Worlds are lame."
"We don't need rumble."
Hopefully you're noticing now that everyone on this site is full of crap. People on here will downplay anything the "other" console has if its good, just because they don't have it.
If Home was on the 360, all the ms fans would be happy, and the sony fans would say it was overrated.
Does anyone else find the term "orange box" funny? They should make a cream for that...
Wow...its just logics? Man, I hope that wasn't supposed to be your trump card. All Elite has been saying is that he owns both formats, and doesn't care which "wins" and that he thinks HD DVD has a better picture. I'd disagree and say they both have identical pictures, but HD does have better features. Don't go by everything you read on this website, kid. Blu Ray isn't destroying HD like all the other 12 yr olds here say it is. Just try for one minute to stop being such a freak...
If I was your English/Economics teacher I would be embarrassed or ashamed.
You have to realize that, at a certain point, the level of intelligence has a big impact on your message. Whatever point you were trying to make becomes completely invalid with such horrible english. Get your older brother to proof your work first.
But anyway...I read your sentence, and, like you, I like the xbox more that the PS3 too bud, but seriously? The downfall of the American eco...
Secret..
I know you think this whole automobile analogy thing is awesome, and so you also think you are awesome for coming up with it, but its not. And this is the second time today you've posted that stuff. You're just wasting your time. Nobody comes on to N4G, reads what someone says, and is like, "Oh wow, you're right. I need to get rid of my <insert system of your choice> and purchase <insert competing system of your choice>." And if you write enough of a...
No, they shoulda not made this gametype. It was lame in Halo 2, and its gonna be lame in Halo 3.
Hopefully this will still stay in custom games, and not make its way into matchmaking.
Look me up if you wanna play tonight...

I could be wrong, but...
I was just reading about Touchsense on immersions website, and it says it has an emulator that can handle "last gen" rumble. So in a sense, Phil's comment about no learning curve would be accurate, right?
Couldn't it still have the touchsense, and he's simply stating rumble will be easy to implement?
I wouldn't be surprised if it still has the new rumble in it...but thats just my opinion anyways.
So now the PS3 "just wait" argument has a date. Watch out. 1 year, 2 months, and counting...
My parents signed me up for Nintendo Power around the same time NP sent out a free copy of Dragon Warrior for the NES for subscribers. I actually kept my subscription up to about mid N64 days. The mag had turned into a self promoting hype machine with little substance.
Maybe this will be enough to get people interested again...but with internet gaming sites that can update a little faster than monthly magazines, I'm surprised anyone reads print anymore.
Dude are you serious? Have you seen how many people still play Halo 2, and you think in a couple months people would get tired of Halo 3?
And to make matterrs worse, you say Haze will sell systems. Haze...a first person shooter...pretty much a rip from Halo...which you said will suck. I just don't get your logic.
Does that mean that someone should post a news story on N4G about the comment Raiyel made on a forum?
You called Gamestop in the UK, huh?
Why stay awake until midnight? The majority of the target demographic that would be playing this game don't see it as "staying awake" until midnight. Most are up way later than that anyway.
And its not like people are gonna go to the store, get their copy of Halo, and put it on a table to wait to open for the next day. People will be playing this all night/morning. For those that don't plan on playing that night, obviously they aren't interested in a midnight laun...
They made it a lil harder for just anyone to pick it up and get a kill. The auto aim with the sniper is almost nonexistent compared to Halo 2. Takes more patience, and skill.
