Metal Gear Solid really needs to end. It's story was well done but it needs to end before they start putting to much random crap in it. And I agree with whoever said that MGS fans are blinded by the nostalgia of the game, you could probably find the same storytelling enjoyment in a novel. There are a ton of more great stories like Metal Gear, maybe not in games but they're out there.
Even though metal gear has a great story i have to admit that mgs4 did try to add on as much fan service as possible, like unnecessary twists and turns that made the story convoluted.
P.S. I hate all those people that say you have to understand the story to like it. There are plenty of people who perfectly understand the story but don't find it that interesting. Everyone has different tastes. Acting like Metal Gear Solid has the perfect storyline that everyone can love is comple...

Really good point. If Nintendo had gone with a more powerful console along the ps3/360 specs it would have had a harder time selling. Mostly because if people wanted a powerful they would go to Microsoft or sony and not the company that was least powerful in the previous generation. *cough *cough Nintendo and its gamecube
