One thing I think a lot of people are missing here is that if the developers had to stick with the same engine (and I am not a MW3 supporter by far) but f they HAD to stick with the same engine then they look like they did pretty good with the tools they had.
The set pieces and cut-scenes are all pretty much done in game and while Call of Duty is not a shining beacon of hope for graphics in video games they did look like they worked hard for it.
that does NO...
well if you want to get specific a I would give this game a rating of 9.2879432157429745620835 but that's just me trololol
this sounds like a very narrow minded review with the way he describes the story. giving little or no attention to emotional or dramatic arcs than the other reviews give attention to it begs the question of what effect aspect really does have?
I called the the Big Three because there we're all the third games of the series with the most publicity, has almost nothing to do with sales or commercial success and more so with commercial success from publicity and marketing strategies relating to that.
best Article Title EVER!
lol
I hate reality shows and I watch this so I guess it must be entertaining
PETA will have a field day with this
that was the most entertaining presser of E3 2011 so far! AC revelations, Far Cry 3, Future Warfighter, New brothers in arms title! it rocked so far!
wow PSN goes down Microsoft benefits. congratulations on stating the obvious...
really though when something bad happens to a company its obvious their competitors will benefit.
@icarusone
on top of an awfully shallow, misplaced, and disorganized story. extraordinarily unbalanced multi player. kill-streaks that basically paused the game for many of the players. and people who can get a nuke in 60 seconds that ended the game. What I really dint like was the ungodly KDR some guys would get in any game using exploits and cheap ways to do so, the reason I did not like this was because say I am playing CTF If my whole team is just going for kills and not ...
totally agreed
Call of duty has really lost its touch since CoD4 MW2 was just a god awful game that ruined everything I liked about 4 and while black ops kind of brought it back it was not enough. I doubt MW3 will do anything to wow me this time around though the hype train they have going is pretty good.
I honestly think we do.
Assassins's Creed's ezio trilogy has such great cliff hangers and such great story telling behind them that this is one franchise that pretty much NEEDS to have a new game every year to keep a bit of hype from the ending of the last one going.
the year to year thing works great for assassins creed as opposed to other titles because of their structure (bear in mind im keeping Assassins creed 1 out of the picture here)

Worse than Confrontation? Worse than 3? naa but its not better than 1 or 2
thats not the point, the point is that it makes N4G look unprofessional (not like it isn't unprofessional anyways) I get how this was a typo but that doesn't make it okay that people could approve this and not see it nor look over your post before you post it.
I remember just two years ago when if you missed a simple period at the end of your title you we're bashed and hammered on N4G before you even could think about getting it approved
Behing? how does this crap get approved like that!?!?
Great Review! Portal 2 is awesome and I love the new gameplay mechanics! and TBH It is definitely a GOTY contender
@Agent 86
I am a PC PS3 combo guy too and to be honest I would like to play more PC games but I am just so addicted to my trophies, hell I just got 5 platinums in the past 3 weeks. otherwise yea there is a lot of games I have bought twice so I can play PC and get the trophies too!
I agree and as I stated in the podcast now that Naughty Dog is taking a wholly serious approach to cinematic story telling, they are no longer held back by the witty humor of Uncharted 3 (not that that is a bad thing) so they can now be as serious as they want to be with character tensions and emotional tension. This will be Naughty Dog's cinematic story telling on steroids and I would not be surprised if I cried at some point in the story haha
