Yeah they would. Sony won't go down without a fight but they will go down sadly. This exploit as you call it lets you run unsigned code that means anything can be implemented into it. In 2 months max cfw will be out whether you like it or not. Im not supporting pirating at all. But if this brings back BC then im going to get it and use it for nothing more then that.

I don't know why you guy's keep saying " oh sony will patch it" or "stop it" cause their not. They havn't been banning people yet because they want to solve the court case in the U.S. of that retailer selling ps jailbreaks. With this exploit the pirates will win. The court will see it more then just piracy instead they will see it as the iphone jailbreak. Your hopes are too high for sony.

Oh they are worried, When geohot announced he found a way to hack the Ps3 they didn't file a law suit right after. With this usb jailbreak they filed a lawsuit within a couple of days. All you guys who say they can patch this with a firmware well I think not. It runs even before the firmware can start. Also, they got a code from sony that they would never expect. Yes, it can be patched but in another way this "hack" will only find more exploits.
