The playstation 3 is currently being sold at a loss. Sony Computer Entertainment looses approximately $50 with each console sold. And yet they made a profit. Contrary to what the media states (Little Big Planet "flopping"), this means that all costs are being recouped with software sales. Now here is a hard question. Does sony do a price drop for the playstation 3 to increase demand (and thus sales) for more potential software sales, or do they keep their current price point so that...
God of War 1+2, Shadow of the Colossus, and Metal Gear Solid 3, were better games than GTA.

lol. Read the article again. Read it again and understand that the editor (ryan clements) was previewing the demo in that video you saw. they are the same thing, but the full video was captured later. And, why would some one not interested in a story driven adventure care about heavy rain?
once again, go play indigo prophecy or read up on what heavy rain actually is to understand why there isnt anyone running crazy and guns blazing. Also, that demo you saw was supposed to represent the style of gameplay quantic dream is going for. It is not heavy rain. to this day we have not seen a single gameplay video because they dont want to spoil anything. And the movement in the game is for camera angles, except it wont control like crap. The "substance" that you are referring ...
lol @ the movie comment. He watched the trailer (ONE TRAILER LOL) but didnt even bother to watch the complete demo video. Watch the video and see for yourself that this is a complete adventure game. Just like Indigo Prophecy. I dont even know why you guys post in the gamer zone.

it looks your the one whos never heard of InFamous, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3 (lol), and Ratchet and Clank Future 2. Not to mention all the awesome multiplatform games to look forward to like Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5, Bioshock 2, COD:MW2 etc...shall I go on?
because it looks like utter crap. Put your excitement towards something like COD:MW2.
these guys dont have confidence in Alan Wake despite Max payne being awesome.
