Maybe this deserves an update to detail even more of the responses from the experiment. Thought I got pretty specific, but I'll have to go a step further.
Although, I still think it's fair to say that hated the device along with the others *in this experiment*
No... it's not. The reason the headline is written like that is because this is a gaming site. Therefore, it's listed first and the other are listed as ", other streaming devices."
Random example:
"Kaz Hirai, other technology execs talk about the future of their industries" would be how a headline would be written on a gaming site if the other execs were not gaming related.
Understand? If not, take some journalism courses :...

Yes, they were technically inept, but a lot of the content and frustrating setup issue I agree with (and I'm well versed in this sort of technology). Amazon Video On Demand now showing HD content on TiVo HD, but grant HD access to content on PC and Mac is my biggest pet peeve at the moment. That's not something that makes them technically inept.
Plus, even with an HTPC, they wouldn't be able to access live or most on demand content that ...
Surprised. I thought Sony would go compact with a phone, but it went all out with actual analog sticks (not nubs) and presented a true gamer's gaming portable. They went really took the phrase "go big or go home" to heart.
Not a word, which is a concern considering NGP is going to be very powerful.
Thankfully, it's on its way and will be present at E3.
Maybe an MG launch title? Launch games seem to be 3DS' Achilles heel.
...although the NGP name, obviously, must go.
Wide audience yes, but with so many smartphones and tablets out there, it'll be interest to see if developers can adopt to the variations.
Haha took me a while to realize that Snooki was the "cookie woman."
"A" for effort.
EA Sports Active 2 is for all systems, although Kinect support makes it a little more unique. Maybe Active 3 will use Move.
The AR Games were the best part.
Some people were saying $40 first party games and $50 third-party games (in years/system past, 3rd party games have sometimes been more expensive on Nintendo platforms: i.e. N64).
So, this is good news all around. Not sure what Nintendo's hesitation is...?
This in one case in which Reservations are going to be a good idea. Hardware always seems to pop up on eBay for a 200% premium.
@LORD-PHOENIX
You're right. iPhone and all Apple products are not as open or customizable as everything else, but that seems to have worked for developers and streamlining the process. I.E. Angry Birds developer had to change their game based on the various Android models. Therefore, iPhone owners got it first and easily.
But it doesn't sound like Steve is in it for the money. He loves what he does.
#1 You act as if Microsoft has no leverage.
#2 You say "just switch providers" ....ummm Cable companies have monopolies in most areas that I have lived in in the United States.
No, this is (partly) Microsoft's fault because they need to DEAL! It's not like they don't have a hand in the negotiations. Am I right?
Well put. I hope that happens one day.
Sony really seems to be pushing both the Move and its Sharp Shooter attachment. I'm still partial to the analog sticks. Is anyone a diehard PS Move user when it comes to FPS games?
