I don't care how it stacks up to the competition. I'm buying the Wii U to play NINTENDO games in HD. I can't play Zelda or Mario or Metroid on Xbox or PS, nor do I want to.
I've always held the belief that Nintendo is no longer directly competing with Sony or Microsoft. They have their own thing going

If you hear excessive popping, it either needs new batteries, or you need to have the receiver closer to you. The cables for receiver are pretty long, so no issue.
