Exactly this. I've put off getting this game because of the locked 30fps on new consoles. I'd buy it tomorrow if they patched it.

Yeah there's a building in akila city where you have to load to go through the door but you can get to the roof and jump back into the open city with no loading screen
Plague-doctor27. I'm not arguing this game doesn't deserve a 4/10. Every cod since 2010 has been a cash grab to meet an annual release. They all deserves a 4. My issue is IGN have constantly overlooked these cheap reskined cash grabs and constantly given them an 8 or a 9. I find it very strange that now MS own Activision, IGN decide to be honest.
COD has been copy and paste garbage for years and always received an 8 or 9 from IGN. The moment Microsoft buy COD, it's a 4. I'm not defending the game, I'm obviously not a COD fan but this seems dodgy.

I haven't stopped playing games all year. I've been having a blast with Indies. I'm not hating on Sony I just knew what to expect from their first party line up and fancied a change. I've owned every mainstream console since the 8 bit era apart from the Xbox one and that isn't going to change. I also game on PC. I couldn't care less about fanboy crap
It's why I bought an Xbox first this time around. I've owned every Playstation console including the handhelds but by the end of the PS4 I was burnt out with over the shoulder action games with RPG and stealth elements. glad I'm not the only one that was getting bored of the same games. Yeah I make about £15 a month in rewards points. It payed for Elden Ring and £80 off my daughters series S. I know it won't last forever but I'm happy making coin from gamepass.
When EA create a new FIFA or Madden each year at full price, we all know they could easily release DLC with new team rosters at a lower price instead. The gameplay never changes. This is what Nintendo has done with MK. I can't fault them.
It was only last year that they announced they were already making a profit on the PS5 disk version! It usually takes years to break even on units sold but they are already making profit! Now they want more money?
That would be fine if gaming companies were losing money year on year but they aren't. They are making record profits every single year. The reason for this is, although prices have remained the same, the gaming market has grown rapidly. The amount of gamers now completely dwarfs the amount of gamers in the 90s. As for the developers being paid, don't you worry, Sony is paying their wages. The extra profits go straight into the pockets of the shareholders.
Eternal darkness was phenomenal. I remember panicking when I got an error code pop up and then it looked like all my saves had wiped off my memory card. That game would play with your mind.
I average around 15,000 reward points each month for doing these quests and the other rewards related tasks. Gamepass costs 12,000 points a month.
Microsoft basically pay me to play gamepass and I still have points left over to build up and buy games/DLC.

I can play more old Nintendo and Sony games on a series X than I can play on the PS5 and Switch combined.
They have combined gold and game pass. It's called gamepass ultimate. It also includes a game pass PC subscription
Each year there are two maybe three games that are good enough for me to purchase. For the rest of the mediocracy, I'll happily sub and not have those games clogging up my library.
