I agree.. they did kind of sell themselves short... by saying that.. it's almost like they were accepting defeat in a way... but it was the opposite in my opinion...

good that's what I like to read... a steady stream of DLC is almost required this day in age for any game.. especially a multiplayer game... everyone wants the extras and add-ons and more maps.... it should become the standard... well atleast from the top dawgs of the industry...
DLC is one of those things that once it was introduced to the mass gaming community it was never going to go away.....
I'm thinking it will probably hit shelves in late October to mid November... I'm sure they will try their best to get it on shelves before Christmas... But with that said there are so many other games that will be hitting around the same time...
at some point, I would say like 75% of gamers will become overwhelmed with the sheer amount of games they still have to play by the time the holidays hit..

yeah I like how dead rising is constructed... I think eventually if they continue with the concept we will see even more wild stuff... like maybe one day where anything is combinable and not just certain items...
some different locations might be better though. even the new one feels like your running around in a mall still rather than in a fictional Vegas... but maybe there is only so much they can do... I dunno but like full on actual city and you run like across the stre...
now I remember the difference beaten night and day maps on GRAW 2 was incredible... that game used and had a stellar approach towards shadowing and lighting.

I dunno looks like to could have a steady following in my opinion if it holds up on the techinical level when it comes to maximum capacity. like if they maintain their side of the game and keep it going smooth for the gamer..
other than that I'm not sure... personally I probably won't get it at launch... possibly when it drops in price. but I would definitely check it out if someone I knew owned it... that's just my opinion.
yeah I see what you're saying it kinda of looks lower than usual or something... also, on a second look it hands looks real rigid, like stiff animation it doesn't have the full life an actual human hand has..

I'm looking forward to this so bring it down, tone it up... make it impossible... do whatever you did with Demon Souls and I'm sure the crowd will be won over...
but in saying that I've only had a very little experience with Demon Souls... and from what I played/seen it is a nice game that seems refreshing to play despite of the difficulty...
so I can only assume Dark Souls will continue this refreshing type of gameplay... it makes you actual...

but screenshot number 10 the one with the creature he is like touching... there is something about the guys arm... it doesn't look right.... the hand and everything looks good, but something about the actual arm near the elbow area looks different like messed up not human like... abnormal... I don't know the right word..

Looks good... would like to hear some more information and possibly see some actual footage... a Beta would be cool.. Beta's definitely help in the process of debugging and everything... I never actually have participated in a Beta before though...

Yeah I agree.. watching that made me proud that a person of his caliber can experience and receive the same amount of fun from a product I myself would use. I can only imagine that he loves every minute of it. and he played that game very, very well using only his chin...

This very well could be the best year for gaming ever seen... After finally surpassing the Movie industry as the biggest form of entertainment... it's pretty safe to say that the games from here on out are only going to get better.
