That's because it's not true. If you find me a SINGLE example of better draw distance on the PS4 that's not caused by weather or fog, I'll apologize to you.
I'm sure it will be a great game, but I hope that nobody ever describes it again as "realistic". The more gifs I watch where people jump in and out of aircraft in flight, the more arcadey it gets. Battlefield is basically a larger scale COD with bullet drop.

The resolution was less on those two games as well, in addition to grass.
RDR and Mafia 2 were in lower res on the PS3 in addition to grass. They looked blurry. Not the case here.
