There certainly were some solid games, but I greatly agree with the fact that 2016 disappointed quite tremendously... Were there any games on the list you actually enjoyed, Muadiib?

It was hard to come up with a simple answer on a subject so controversial and complex. I did my best to reflect my opinion on how reviews used to affect me personally, and how I approach the games I am tasked with reviewing.

Personally, I think The Witcher 3 comes out stronger since, as you mentioned, it's exceptional. It takes everything people love about RPGs and refines it.
Hay Isarai! Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom was originally intended to be on this list, along with Papo & Yo. Both didn't make the cut, however, but we're glad those titles are far from forgotten!
