I mainly added Galaxy 3 as shorthand for saying exactly that. I new Super Mario game in the style of 64/Galaxy, not the 3D Land/World style.
Would love to see what they could do with Mario on console as (supposedly) powerful as a PS4/Xbox One!
Yeah, you would think some sort of achievements system is a must. Especially if they're wanting to sell their console as a place you can play 3rd party titles on an equal footing with PS4 and Xbox One.
Yeah, it would be pretty amazing. Would sell me on getting the console on day one.
Totally agree. I feel, especially as games diversify further, there's no reason a 'indie' title shouldnt be able to release at a higher price point. If the developer/publisher feels a game is worth $40, then they should be able to charge $40.
It wasn't so much a case of ignoring the Wii U, rather I am just acknowledging the reality of the situation. The Wii U is hard to classify as part of this generation of consoles, especially with the NX on the horizon.
I love my Wii U, but with the holidays coming up, I can't see kids asking for one over either the Xbox One or PS4. Also we didn't use Metacrtitic as these were out favourite exclusives :)
This guy knows whats uo!
Yeah, it was (apparently) what the press saw behind closed doors at E3. It looks fantastic, looking forward to seeing more of the world soon.
Either another map, or more weapons to unlock. Curious to see if there are any other blasters in the game that really stand out.
Loved this game, so glad its been a hit, and getting a sequel.
I am the same, I will plan for stealth, but usually it ends up being Rambo mode by the end to the mission. I can get in ok, it tends to be getting out where things take a violent turn!
Yeah, considering Otacon is often used for a little light relief, he has a some pretty awful things happen if him. Especially any women he gets close to.
Hi!
To answer the above question, sadly I have not played Peace Walker, I keep meaning to get around to playing the HD version on PS3, but can never find the time. It seems to feature a lot of the core features that will be found in Phantom Pain.
Would you say Ground Zeroes is bottom due to its length? Or do you prefer the gameplay style of the older MGS games?
Yeah, it's transition to open world was handled really well, but I would still love to see another Arkham Asylum style game with a more intimate environment.
Yeah, its an odd one, its a gaming expo, but I just felt like no game reveals caused as much of a stir as the 5 included in the list.
Now if they re-reveal The Guardian or Shenmue 3 this year we may have to re-visit it!
Wow, maybe want to try reading the article before posting something so inflammatory, rather than just the opening paragraph.
Its more a look at why it happens, and its actually reasonably optimistic about the future. I am 29 year old dude who doesn't pretend to know the inner workings of video game development, I tend to look at things from a consumers perspective.
Well speaking as someone who is ~20 hours in, I can say its pretty awesome! There's so much to do its almost overwhelming.
Yeah, I'd also really love to see Rockstar's take on Chicago. Get some ties to Al Capone in there.
Nah, Rare have had a rough ride these past few years. As you have already said, both Nuts and Bolts, and Viva Pinata were both great games. I think a subtle grudge has been held against them ever since they left Nintendo for Microsoft.
How did I forget about The Warriors?! That's one of my favourite PS2 games of all time!
